By this, I mean: What do you think is the most evil act done by players on other playerrs in this game?
I want to hear juicy stories of massacres, backstabs, and scams.
I want to know that somewhere out there, someone cried themselves to sleep because of something that happened in the game.

I'd say the scam that Istvaan and Co. did, where they scammed billions of ISK from their victims ...

Most of the really ebil & nasty things never make it to the forums.
The victim not wanting to advertise their loss (or stupidity) and the culpret not wanting to advertise their ebil'ness.

Zombie Corp in Yulai.
Istvaan's theft wasn't as "evil"--it affected far fewer people, regardless of how high the payout was.

Has to be the group that spend about a year infiltrating another, getting high up their ranks and stealing everything because they were 'hired' apparently. Broken trust + isk sheer value lost means it was probably the most evil.

It was CCP scamming us all. scamming 50% players by telling them that EVE is an easy game for carebears and scam the other 50% by telling them EVE is a PVP game. This was the most evil and most $$$-focussing scam ever.

"Evil"?
That would imply that there is a "Good", and that one of those is "Better".
If the definition is Christian-based, Evil is one who strays from the path of "Good", and "sins" without regret.
I don't think vague metaphysical religion-mumbo-jumbo really fits the actions we perform.
We just have fun, some more than others. Usually the latter write long and incoherent posts about how piracy is unfair.

Not only was it Evil, in many peoples eyes it was Brilliantly Evil as it was so perfectly executed. GHSC infiltrated and lied and manipulated those guys for nearly or just on a whole year then made the move which devestated that corp as well as many of the Eve community, without even flinching.
I would have to agree on this being one of if not the most evil, as the story did make it into many pages of PC gaming magazines around the world.

Yet some of this fun is done at the expense of others, which diminish their fun...Argue :) An eye for an eye make a whole world blind.

Reading about Istvaan, Teela Belwynn and GH-SC is what got me interested in the game, so I will add a vote to that.

e+vil adj. e+vil+er, e+vil+est
1. Morally bad or wrong; wicked: an evil tyrant. 2. Causing ruin, injury, or pain; harmful: the evil effects of a poor diet. 3. Characterized by or indicating future misfortune; ominous: evil omens. 4. Bad or blameworthy by report; infamous: an evil reputation. 5. Characterized by anger or spite; malicious: an evil temper.
Cut the crap. There are plenty of moral systems that aren't based on any religion, and certainly aren't based on Christianity.
And back to our regularly scheduled topic...
What was the Yulai incident?

Reading this story inspired me to play Eve. No, not to be that kind of player, but because the game was raw enough for it to happen at all.
