Edited by: Macdeth on 31/05/2006 16:29:57 Annoying UI bugs in 3912 from trade/production guy perspective, since I think precious few people investigate this stuff on test server:
1) Market price history trying to tell the future when displaying any range longer than two months - if this was deliberately broken to reduce database load, please remove the options for a longer timeline altogether so that we stop worrying about it. (Histories have only worked correctly from NWO to RMR since the Exodus patch, of course)
Probably two manifestations of the same bug (bug-reported, with reproduction steps, etc):

I posted this question as a topic last night, but haven't seen any comments from anyone.
The patch notes for 3912 say (or used to before they were truncated):
Quote: Mining Barges and Elite Mining Barges can now be built in Medium Ship Assembly Arrays.
Is that literally correct and as intended? Shouldn't the elite barges go into the advanced medium ship assembly arrays?
This is a very important distinction, since people might fork over cash for a normal medium array to reduce T2 barge build times, only to find out later that they belong in the advanced array.

alot of the changes in this patch are to do with the static data. basically the DBA is away, the current development static has months of changes by 10+ people. so basically the static is not going to be ready when we are ready to patch.
the planned patch is wanted by many people, including myself to fix the chat issues and a few other bits and bobs. so the plan is to release the patch on tuesday next week (6/6/06) then as soon as the static is ready and we have had time to test it, then it will be released and i will revert the patchnotes back to how they was.

I believe Sharkbait refers to that as the static? So, my guess is no. ..............................

I cant get onto test at all for some reason!
I have patched it and the build is correct, yet when i load the test directory... i select SiSi and it wont load the server info and when i put in my password with my username all i get is this message:
Unable to connect to the selected server. Please check the address and try again.
Can someone (devs?) please tell me what im doing wrong, if anything, or something i need to do/change?
It doesnt even do the authenticating password/username etc, just pops up with that message!
I really wanna get onto test to see how things are gonna change and to help.... well test... but i cant
(Sorry if this is in the wrong place etc, but i dont know where else to put it)

I am a bit confused.
First the autopatch wasnt working at all, so i patched with the Testserver Patches to Version 3911 and hoped that it will work after that. NOW i get those message:
We were unable to locate a patchfile for your build no. (3911).
Eh?
Greetings Elena

Every time I try to auto patch, i get the following:
Quote: There was an unexpected error while retrieving patch status:
Unable to download file o2/test/evepatch3910-3913_test.exe from the server. Error: url //ccp.vo.llnwd.net/o2/test/evepatch3910-3913_test.exe not found
Would you like to attempt to download the patch manually?
Is there a work around? I tried to download the patch manually by answering the question yes, but I got hit with a 404.

Download http://ccp.vo.llnwd.net/o2/test/evepatch3910-3912_test.exe
first, apply it, then the auto-patcher works

Thanks,

I followed the directions above and am still having problems with Singularity. I have the latest version 2.10.3913 but am unable to connect to the server. Any suggestions? It was working fine 2 nights ago...

Move the patch date... maybe it's just me being overly pessimistic, paranoid and supersticious. But 06/06/06 !?!?!?!?!?
Pleease - I don't want eve to die :(
