The new eden store looks pretty nice - sleek design, nice animations, tho, they seem to lock you out of control until they are completed - some people don't have much tolerance for that and want to be done with their business quickly. https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&m=4259327 - more suff in the Zero.Zero collection |

Had problems with redeeming items. The redeem items window would come up but the redeem items button would not work unless I unchecked one of the items and rechecked it. Only after that could I actually redeem the items I bought.
Also will these new clothing items be available for trade on the market? I have bought my entire selection of clothes entirely on the market and not have spend a single AUR on any of them would still like the ability to do this. People, who talk, don't know. People, who know, don't talk.

I went to the store from the character selections window. How are you supposed to scroll down? Nevermind.
I was in the middle of writing this post, taking a screenshot, then finally noticed the lightly colored scroll bar. I've been at the store a few times and just gave up trying to find a scroll bar. Anyway to make it more obvious?

Agree with Bienator II that a shopping cart and/or purchase confirmation second click is needed.
Agree with scimichar about scroll bar.
Scroll bar for item grid is hard to identify as a scroll bar, at first glance. It's too stealthy to see right away, and too narrow to rapidly mouse over and click on. Please increase width 2x or 3x, and move it beside the item grid so that it stands out as a control. I think the design is trying to hide UI and controls as much as possible, but users still need good hints.
Keyboard shortcuts? Page Up / Page Down or arrow keys do not scroll the item grid.
Mouse navigation path through item purchase window is not optimal. (More user "work" than necessary.)
The controls suggest I click "buy now" at the bottom, and then mouse all the way up to the small X at top right, to dismiss the purchase window. A first-time user may not know that clicking beside / behind the popup also closes it.
Please use the nice friendly green checkmark as an alternate "close window" control, or create a new "close window" button that appears in the same location as "Buy Now." This would enable more rapid mouse navigation.
Purchase window popup has an icon for item, below the description. On mouse hover over the item icon, the mouse cursor changes to indicate more information might be available, perhaps a right click menu. Please don't change the mouser cursor on hover if no further info is available, or consider disabling the animation / effect on mouse hover. |

Excuse me!! Hello!!! *jumps around*
I made this thread in GD where I asked about the red skirt, and now I installed Singularity and there's only the structure one available!
Will you have the standard/leather red skirt up as well?
Thanks!

I was about to file a bug that the X to close purchase windows was inoperative, when I realized that the actual problem is that after you buy something, they're inactive until you've seen the animated checkbox, the little thumbnail, and the text which fades in every single time to tell you that the item can be found in your redeeming queue.
There are a number of ways to address this. The most straightforward would be to not have the X visible while clicking on it does nothing. Even more straightforward would be to move the notification about the redeeming queue out of that window (but not into a modal dialog--maybe a tooltip that pops up to tell you that you've already purchased 1x Men's 'Curate' Coat (Dark Bronze) and it's waiting for you in your redeeming queue?) That's the shopping cart idea. That's actually patented, somebody is going to sue CCP over use of that technology. No more free updates for us. We can't have that.
Just have a tick box next to every product, with a box that allows you to select a quantity, tally the total, go to the checkout and punch the 'yes' button. |

+1, but I remember digging up the reason for no flats: because of :reasons: related to CARBON's collision detection algorithm, all avatars are exactly the same height, about 5'8". Men are 5'7" with ~1" heels; Women are about 5'5" with ~3" heels. Dropping the heel breaks the collision algorithm, which apparently goes exponential when confronted with avatars of different heights.
So the answer is likely to be not any time soon, unless you're OK with your avatar magically gaining or losing a couple of inches when she changes her shoes. Proud founder and member of the Belligerent Desirables. |

Hi! :D
So I used it extensively and I must tell you that the delays ... ... DELAYS ... every time I bought something ... are RIDICULOUSLY ANNOYING ! :O
You either want me to buy stuff and thus offer a fast and slick experience, or you want me to get lost in the time I need to wait for a stupid window to vanish again!
All else, I like it.
But we, as in, several others who also think alike, would really like the GLOVES on some coats to be seperately buyable!
Because sexy! :D

Posted in the wrong thread. Moved it here.
My experiences on SiSi:
- I noticed the NES store on Neocom. Was there some better consistency or unification planned for icons that are both in Station Services and Neocom? Why are some of the Neocom icons in Station Services anyway?
- The high contrast NES icon sort of stands out from the rest of the Neocom (and Station Services) icons
- I noticed the Esc > Redeem items button is gone. This makes it *very interesting* to get items from NES: Buy, quit, login, then redeem
- I noticed the filters in NES didn't work like "male" or "female" etc.
- The confirmation window for NES purchases is very clunky. The X button in the corner won't respond until the animation in the window finishes completely. May want to consider some visual feedback so it doesn't seem as laggy
- Was this coat http://imgur.com/bAR8O5r untextured or will it eventually look like http://imgur.com/eSguZUm (3rd one from left)

This is one texture for that coat style, the one in that picture is another. For some reason that latter one hasn't been put on the store. There are also some other varieties that haven't been put onto the store yet.
I'm hoping they intend on including all the different varieties they have made, of all of these sets. There are some great color combos for the sanctity set especially that I'd love to get, but have so far not been included in the store. |

WoW's gameplay style isn't something I enjoy, but Blizzard is renowned for their production values and polish, and, simply put, they typically do a better job of what they do than most game companies, most of the time. That they make games appealing to a mass market instead of a niche doesn't make it at all "embarrassing" that a company with a UI and web budget that probably exceeds CCP's in its entirety can pull off a better shop.
Of course they can. You would have to be an idiot to expect otherwise. |

No. When people start using common words as brands language formation becomes needlessly ambiguous.
"Windows", really?
"Word", give me a break
"Apple", enough already
"Poise"... an adult diaper uses a word that has nothing to do with the product they just don't want you to feel bad for using them, where does it end?
You can't scour the world for words that have been appropriated as brands because that means you never get to use names anymore, we've already used all the words that are easy to remember. They even have medication branded under one name in one country and another in a different part of the world. I don't even know how these people keep up with that.

Your budget comparison is total bullshit! It's an ingame store and not brain surgery. You would have to be an idiot to expect otherwise.
CCP just pulled out a bullshit bingo chart for monetizing vanity items in video games and worked criss-cross trough that thing.
- Remove the ability to track your expenses
- Remove the ability to see your balance (except in shop)
- Remove the ability to compare AUR price with ISK price in market
- Add a few items in a bazillion colours as seperate items to fake diversity
- Disconnect the customer from the game
- Use a totaly different interface
- Remove ability / Make it troublesome to see if you already have that item in your hangar
- Absolutely confusing interface (no tables, no obvious structure)
- Hide important details from customer (see: Ship Skin BPCs)
- Touch interface in a PC game. Because touch is cool and fancy.
- Build in a few quirks so the customer buys accidentally or more than desired (see: New 'Amount' field next to 'Buy now')
- Make the previews generic to increase sells. Looks nice on picture, but not on your character. Just buy the collection...
- etc
In my opinion that thing is a total disaster. You can already see how CCP has problems to reintegrate the most basic things like redeeming and buy confirmation. |
