Basically I think the old eve store was way better than the current one.
The old Gallante graphic t-shirt with the myrmidon, posters these are things I missed! Why has the store not been beefed up with basic things that I think its safe to say Alot of players would get like:
Graphic T's- with ships /map/race I know current store has hoodies and some tshirts but they dont have the flair to say I play eve B******** and to merit their price-tags, and their quite as nice as the old graphic t-shirts that were available
Coffee mug - Cause seriously its the drink of the gods.. how many capsuleers don't sit and game in the morning with a cup of coffee
Thermal Mug
Mousepads!!- both full size that your keyboard can sit on and regular ones.. my old halo one is falling apart!
Ship models -much like the rifter sent with the collectors edition.. Got that bad boy sitting on top my half 932 case.
And if not add them to your store perhaps license out? Ive seen tons of fan made items like laser engraved coffee mugs (if you cant tell i really want a mug) 3d printed ships, hell even saw a mach made out of burnt matchsticks.. frickin awesome btw.. but they cant sell them.

Just something to consider I am very disappointed CCP didn't extend improving the base game but spend time providing the player base with almost perfect wardrobes and so on. The humility!
But i want all the things!!
I mean sure there's those creative venders on eBay that come up with cool stuff, but I'm pretty sure none of that revenue makes its way back to ccp, and thus wouldn't go back into improving the game I like to play..... |

Until CCP gets smart , the only place to get the swag you want is from unauthorized 3rd parties. Google is your friend. I of course don't condone doing that, however some of the items are quite nice (so I've heard) and a certain white on black "Guristas" shirt owned by an acquaintance of mine is still looking great after 3+ years of regular use confusing and focusing the ire of soccer-moms.
ya very true, I found a cool thermal mug from incursion expansion, and one of the old gallant t shirts as well as a Rubicon mouse pad, but i'm sure none of these vendors pay anything to ccp.

Well they can definitely consider the a mega and nyx sold, I'm a bit nervous though when it comes to their stock and inventory
when items sell out in 7hrs it leaves a lot of people wanting.
the shirt with the map is quite nice but the sweaters and jackets are a bit pricey and lack eve content! which he did explain in the video they were more for the individual wearer vs. people looking at it but still.
Still need to outsource or something for mugs and mouse pads though, there was no mention of that. |

Not sure why ccp cannot make this happen, i just 300 mousepads for a corporate event with custom art and logo for like less than 3,50 ea.
I think the old EvE store suffered from terrible shipping which made many not order things, hopefully they can get that sorted with the new store and start to stock the things we are looking for
I totally agree with everything, getting custom made mouse-pads really cant be that hard specially when your ordering 500-1000+ you can get some pretty big discounts and still sell for 10-30 bucks depending on quality.
personally I'd pay as high as $29 for a eve mouse-pad with decent artwork on it. |
