Apart from pointing out the blindingly obvious that its unlikely you will get an offer here its probably worth you giving at least a ball park figure of what your prepared to pay for this bpo

beside, it doesnt matter who i'm, important is that i'm willing to pay good for that BPO. of course details via mail only.
as always thanks for a free bump, mate.

At least just say by "good" you mean more than 20B, which is what it would take to at least be taken seriously. Then the owner would know you're serious and you might get a mail. Threads where the buyer says they will pay a "good" price but offer 30% of the value are a dime a dozen, and if you want to get a holder's interest and not look like a chump buyer, you should put out minimums.
A vaga BPO holder will have no trouble selling, so you need to do a little work. Just some advice if you really want to buy one. ---

20b, seems a bit low, IMHO, I'd pay 35b for a Ishtar BPO... if I had the ISK.

I agree that 20B seems low, but I was only trying to help and not screw up his negotiations . Now at least the hypothetical holder has a ballpark and knows he is not one of those clowns that thinks 10B is a lot for the BPO.
Anyway, good luck with the shopping! ---

Edited by: Vaar on 09/06/2006 15:46:00 You might get more of a response if you say you are willing to pay 45 billion. That is what the BPO is worth (assuming someone is willing to part with one) so you will have a better chance if you at least mention it.

well, but it's not on auction. anyway, i doubt if anyone would give 50 for that BPO. if you're lucky you would earn like... 32-35 per year, so it would be like 2 years before that BPO pays off and you would actualy earn money.
be realistic, mate. sorry, 50 it's... absurd.
so, please let me know if you have some serious, not absurd offers.

If an auction went up for the BPOs of the best HACS (i.e. Vaga, Ishtar, etc.) then someone would pay 50 bil for them.
Considering there are people out there with 500 bil wallets I don't think that's too absurd. _____________ The day I receive my first moderator forum-sig hijack is the day I realise I have won Eve.

hacs prices are absurd, mate. no doubt about it. i know that in eve world each thing is worth as much as ppl are willing to pay, but... com'on. 200M for a ship which prod. cost is around 20-30M.
ok, this topic is not to debate about that kind of subjects. i'm closing absurd or not absurd discussion and from now on please, only ppl who are willing to sell vaga BPO for serious, not absurd amount of money... call me.

no, mate. not 200. 120-150, maybe... (for parades i guess) i'm not flying hac worth 200. there is no point. it's better to fit t2 stabber for 4.2 :] which can do pretty the same as vaga in gang/fleets ops. vaga is for solo guerilla ops and parades nowadays i guess.
i got some vagas in hangars, but i'm not using them. these babies are too expensive.

Wow, someone is clueless as to the price of Vagabonds...
Stabber can't even do half of what a vagabond can. Maybe a fleet issue stabber can, but it'd be weak as hell, even if it is faster.

Edited by: Keldareth on 12/06/2006 20:13:15 How do people with the inability to use simple math skills (210mil sale price on Vagas less his mentioned 20-30mil production costs = 180mil profit) come to possess 50bil?
Incidentally if you do the math, your looknig at about 800mil (conservative) estimate on the profits on a Vagabond BPO per week. That's just marginally over 1 year to pay off at 50bil.
I think this thread is more of a pipe dream for you m8. Or maybe I should go start a thread offering 30bil for a Hulk BPO since production costs are nearly the same and they are just overinflated in value and i don't want to pay what it would be worth in REALITY?
Yeah good plan... check the boards soon for my WTB Hulk BPO @ a normal price thread.

you still need to find a fool who is willing to pay 200-230M for a ship worth 30M. it's not a big deal to set XXX M price on hac. a real deal is to sell it.
maybe i'm not talking for majority here, but i'm not one of those fools who are willing pay 230M just to look cool.
hey! i got idea... maybe we'll all set hacs prices for... i dont know...500M? then you would have real profits, wouldnt you? of course if someone will buy it...
anyway, i'll gladly find out what's your opinion on this subject.
of course i'm still looking for vaga bpo for decent price, hehe. bumpage.

I can only say that I am far from being poor in EVE, but I am never going to pay 210M ISK for HAC. Claymore is 100M, tempest 90M, typhoon 60M, Machariel 420M, etc etc... 2 weeks ago my typhoon with NPC setup in 0.0 almost killed BoB Vagabond - I say "almost" just because I did not have warp scrambler.
Prices for all t2 ships are going to drop after next patch, we all know that... get your R&R agent for your t2 BPC!

I am interested in what the outcome of this effort will be. Given that T2 BPOs for HACs do not change hands very often, this would be an interesting development for the associates of both the buyer and the seller.
