I'd show up as often as possible if it were a monthly event, but probably couldn't make them all. 6 months is maybe too large an interval in my opinion, but then I'm not the one organizing it :p
I might be interested in checking out the card game, but my main interest in coming to an eve gathering is to meet and talk to the other people playing eve, so I might not be as interested in playing the card game every time.
BJs sounds like an ideal location for such an event, but then I wasn't there for it so others might have different ideas.
My final thought on the matter is: thanks for taking the time to put this together.

hm ok..well based on my emails and some of the forum posts I've gotten, how does every 2~3 months sound? not everyone hasto come every two months if you can't make it, and I really don't mind holding thme that often, no chip off my shoulder all i gotta do is schedule it with the restaurant. Nice to see more people responding as they find out about this thread though :-) hope to see you all at the next one. When i post time/location it might be at same place since it was pretty easy access right off a freeway and everyone liked it, but if you would like a different sort of food/atmosphere, I can arrange a different location. Also i'll eve-mail everyone who has responded to this forum concerning it, so if you post even once here you'll be informed.
Concerning the CCG : the Eve meet will always primarily be..about EVE and hanging out ^_^ I was jsut trying to see/inject ideas for eve-related activities we could do while we hang out.
Thanks for all the feedback so far!!
P.S.: I'll hold it as often as you guys want, I go to restaurants and hang out w/ friends weekly, so just switching that and putting forth the effort to organize everything isn't THAT much extra effort. ^_^ eve-mailing prolly takes up the bulk of it heh, wish there was a way to do IG mailing lists that only you coudl subscribe to or something.

Aselus, you can make a mailing list in game. It's under the button to join other chat channels..
and secondly, make a new thread for this. The posts following your now edited one are confusing to the new ppl..
