Just recently been camping in faction BS alot. Not only do they look cool, but they hit hard and the risk of losing them gets abit of excitment back into eve.
Well... the point of my post,

Maybe not a big loss to many, but to a rat who does nothing but kill for isk it's a big loss believe me. 2.5bill isk is hard to come by for pure pvp'ers.
Props to finfleet for jumping me, and enjoy the gistii booster. It's gonna seem dull stepping back into a raven   
edit: I suspect some of the guys I've robbed / ganked can have a good laugh at this

You got me with that little sh** a few months ago. It packs a mother******* punch and a half, but yeah, shame about you loosing it. Ganking just wont feel the same

At least the Egghelende locals aren't skimping on the hardware, that's the second pirate coalition faction BS they've killed there in a week week. Last one was a vindicator though.
Oh yeah, no stabs. Props for that. Though it does beg the question if those would've worked , considering it's only BS in the killmail (ie, probably not _that_ many points on you).

i love the fact that it "takes balls" to pvp in a faction ship - especially when it comes from a guy who needed 4 BS vs 1.

Yes it ended up 4 vs 1 because all other make vice move and leave, good move and our bad.
Its was simple tactics, they dosent "flee".
Same time in there was 10 allys in local, other pirates.
In start there was also Bhaalgorn, Megathron and Battlecruiser in same gate with Ratlesnake.
So now we are wimps who attack with superior overpower?
One pirate down = one pirate down, any smartass dosent change it.

I got my sniping tempest ganked the other day by carebears in HAC's. Didn't lose anything of value like you did but none the less sucked. They actually had the nerve to call me ginger magician in local like I actually had wcs's fitted :P

Tuonela is right in that it was a brave attack the way they planned it. We had Rattle, Bhalgorn, Blasterthron and a Claymore. You had jamming Scorp, 2 Ravens and a Geddon.
Two of our gang were fighting another target at another gate, and when the cov ops in jel spotted you guys insta to gate it was shouted on TS to bail out. I misheard and thought we were gonna stay and fight so attacked the first ship that uncloaked. After I was jammed I zoomed out overview to find I was only person at gate lmfao.
After discovering I was alone I looked back at ship to notice most of the 17k shield gone. My gang mates were going to come back but I shouted no as the fight was lost....
Fitting was nothing special but approaching 500m.. also had not had chance to optimize it so it was weak tbh. (though weak it could still tank sentry guns solo for 15-20mins)
6 * T2 Cruise, 2 Unstable Neuts
2 Invuns, 1 Amp, 1 Shad serp sensor, 1 Dread Disrupt, Gist C-Type Booster
4 PDU II, 2 BCU II
I sold the CNR to buy this just a couple of days back..as someone said, Nightmare next I think, should deal with NOS dom quite well :)

I only know 2 other people that can take losses like this in such a good way. Skywalker and Ange1. Respect is due.
Some of the guys in Pirate Coalition never post their losses. I know of a few losses that never was posted. Quite lame imho.

I don't think we have a major 'non-posting' of deaths on killboard. We have a couple of corps who don't use it and maybe there is the odd 'selective' forgetting of losses by a very small minority. Will send our alliance a mail re this as it looks crap if indeed true.
Going boom is a fun part of eve... I'm now down to 100m isk and raven, but give it a month and I'll be back in a faction BS courtesy of a few haulers.
Small bit of advice for anyone wanting to make isk fast gate camping...
SELECTIVE TARGETING
Camp a low sec to low sec gate so you can't be jumped
Just hit haulers / transports
Use two alts so insta jumpers don't escape
Use a BS with 3 disruptors and 3 sensor boosters and a heavy neutralizer
I'm currently using a arm tank raven to generate isk....

On the contrary, Tiller was cool about that as well. Mangold probe boy extraordinaire got it while he was eating dinner if I remember right . If it was me, I'd be smashin my keyboard like that fat little german boy in the video.

Last thing i want to sound like is a troll but either tiller scored on the lottery or is probably considering a break from eve running out of ideas for the game to be any fun usually followed after putting the balance in the red, does me anyways.
If you do leave tiller can i have a few pixels of computer generated animation in the form of faction mods etc if you do call it a day??

The key is to: safe your pod, log for 5 mins (optional if you just dock your pod), scream, break things, stamp around, log back on, put a smile on your face and say "Good Fight". I know from experience :-/
Edit: don't you dare confused "safe and log" with "log during combat".

sorry to here about your lose tiller. But I have had my rattlesnake for about 2 months now and i've used it every fight i've had in 0.4 and in syndicate. I've had about 4 close calls against bob/ail/apent/and some other corp but they haven't been able to beat the tank. Props for posting that you lost it. Hope you can get another one again. They are probably the best ship in the game. CnR= Suxxor. :-)

btw no offense but why were you using cruise missiles on that thing. It can fit 6 siege laucners and a faction tank with no problems....

I think T2 Cruise are still a good weapon for general gate use... You can take on just about every sized target no problem. Not tried T2 Torps yet, but how do they cope with a hac or af ?

It is no dout for general ship beat on smaller targets and indys. T2 Torp wise I mean it's insane damage and you really should give it a whirl. I still would stick to t2 cruise for gate camping none the less. Def would carry some spares of both if you don't roam around so you can be prepaired to dock and rock any battleship pilot with good damage.
