Why am I unable to give money to my DUST character from EVE? We're in the same corp and he is mine after all. ISK is ISK right?
Even from the corp wallet I can't do this. Can someone explain why?

Because ccp did not want the dust market to be flooded by a rich eve player. So they don't allow transfers.
You can, however, use one of the third party isk exchangers, but I dunno if they still do that. Look at some older threads and you will find them

As a Duster turned Pilot I was a bit pissed I couldn't do this either. Until I started mining
In an hour of mining I can earn twice as much as I would do grinding Ambushes in Militia gear (while also raging at the protostomp) for an hour (10m mining v 1-2m grinding ambush). And I don't even have the best mining skills and I'm still learning the finer points of mining.
And as DaReaper said, CCP doesn't want us to flood the Dust Markets with out easy to get ISK.
The only way to make it fair would be to raise the market prices in Dust, however most Dusters don't have a PC or an EVE account or are in a Corp with no Pilots that could flood their wallets with millions of ISK so it would be unplayable unless you had EVE connections.
Edit: There was also this post on the Dust forums a few months back where a guy actually made a specific formula for the difference between Dust Isk and EVE Isk. If I remember it was like ever 10million or so EVE is equal to half a million Dust. |

CCP does not operate an official exchange. I can only speculate that they didn't prioritize the link to Eve Online enough to build an official exchange. However, several players, including me have been running private exchanges.
See this Dust thread.
The top post is where you can find the most current exchange rates. The body of the thread shows much of the exchange's history and how it developed into its current form.
Feel free to post any questions you have about the exchange, in that thread, here, or via evemail to me or my Dust alt, Gyn Wallace.

I'm doing dust to eve isk trading and eve to dust isk. current ratio is 4eve isk to 1 dust isk. PM me if interested |

Well, considering the screw up CCP did on Planetary Conquest, there is now far too much ISK in Dust at the moment. |
