to tell ya the truth theres nothing wrong with anything in EVE atm
miners arent meant to do it solo, tehy are supposed to work in gangs and work for a goal for a certain person at a time and its safe - for example, you do a low sec mining op to build a corp m8 (yes miners are supposed to be in corps if not, you wont get anywhere) a battleship, next time for the miner or another character, you dont just sit on one income, you do missions, mining pvp and get a mix to enjoy the game
also, i do agree with the t2 system
atm, only the players that have multiple lv4 research agents and being playing AGES and have uber standing get the t2 prints, theres only a few RARE exceptions to this
and in the end, the richest baddest industrialists in EVE with are hoarding all the BPO's, i know a man whos sells/trades BPO's - and hes got 3 t2 prints of the same ship just to keep the costs high , which equals higher profit for him
plus, the main problem is the resellers, they buy cheap off the t2 bp owners, like a Deimos for 120-130m then they move the Deimos to edge of space, like a space next to 0.0, and sell it for 200m - pain in the arse
i think they should make t1 prints upgradeable into t2
like the following
a lv4 gallente starship engineering agent gives you an offer every month to upgrade a t1 print into t2 print but theres a cache
if you choose to upgrade a thorax print to a deimos print, theres certain perameters to uphold
the agent requires :
5000 Research Points
Thorax Blueprint ME : 20 < thats BPO by the way
500 Morhpite
Deimos < the actual ship
and triple the amount of t2 components required to build the Deimos
plus a few moon minerals to use this new technology
also, this process would take 1month,
at the end the Agent gives you the Deimos Print ME:0 and PE:0
and charges you 500mill for the actual time invested - can vary depending on the print , ship, module ect......

would make miners actually get research agents, and would decrease prices on t2 stuff and stop the hoarders ><
