I dunno, I always figured people who complain about stabs are the same types that think they should win because they have a good setup and can press f1 through f8 the fastest.
Eve PVP really should be more about tactics than the best setup. WCS work for getting away; good tactics work for killing people with WCS, and if you don't like to think too much, blob tactics work pretty well too.
Even then, just sticking another scrambler instead of a webber will kill 95% of the WCS fitted people. At least it works for me when I pirate. I think people are just too lazy to find a new way of doing things, and can't change their OMG-SO-UBER setup with a webber.
I guess I'll never really understand the mentality of complaining to get things to change. It's different if something is so overpowered that it needs to be nerfed, but for WCS...it's just so simple to work around, it makes me think less of the general intelligence of the people who complain about them.
But whatever. Should WCS change, I'm sure there will be other things that need to be whined about, so it's really a never ending cycle. Keep it up guys, follow your dreams!
By the way, people are always going to whine when you kill them. Whether they do it because you blob, or because you got the jump on them, or because you just had a better setup, the whining type will whine regardless of how you kill them. So why get your feelings hurt whether they do it because of one reason or another? If you killed them, have enough confidence in yourself to say "I deserved that kill, and if he whines that's not my problem, he's just a sore loser."
Yeah, some fights are better than others, but in the end there's a winner, and a loser. If they got away, then you lost. Have some cajones and own up to the fact that they had or did something that you didn't account for. If you win, bask in the glory of the kill. The best part is, if they had WCS and you still killed them, even more reason to feel proud. Not just because you found a way around it, but because that person thought they were safe, and you still killed them. It's a really wonderful feeling, at least for me.
