I don't think minmatar is so overpowered... but maybe a little...and if it needs a little nerf... then look at ammo and remove one damage tipe it can deal... |

We don't have Plasma Rounds or Fusion Charges but the Minmatar do.
Reason I would like EMP Rounds gone is that would make Amarr the primary race for EM Dmg. Well beside the couple of Missile Boats that don't have the Kin Bonus.

You just made every physicist on earth cry. Photons have momentum, and hence can "impart" kinetic energy.
How can they do damage through a shockwave? Ever heard of an atomic bomb? Want to know how the massive shockwave from that is made? It's the radiation. |

This game has no races. Just a few different sets of skills.
You can train this, you can train that.
If you get your ass kicked by some mean ship buy the same ship and kick hes ass. Simple.
Races here mean nothing.
I would understand your frustration if Minnies had some bonus for flying their own ships, like 5% of damage or speed.
Since there are no such bonuses you should train them yourself and have fun.
P.S. You can also train Amarr guys! I heard they love EM damage and nothing else.
When you say to someone things like:
You suck, you are dumb or anything that specifies someone you should think twice before saying them.

Look, it's not that you can't cross train any ship you want. You can. I'd even say the "skill point investment" argument, where someone says they wasted time investing in a certain race because a race is weak, is a poor argument.
What it comes down to for me is this: if one set of ships / weapons system is so superior to other ships / weapons systems, to the point where the vast majority of the player base is flying those ships / using those weapons to stay competitive, then it makes the game vanilla.
I don't always post on the forums, but when I do, I post with my main. |

I'm not saying you are wrong.
It's just as I said, CCP should make "Hints" on character creation screen which clearly says: Minmatar - best for pvp and good at pve, Caldari - best for pve, Gallente - so-so at everything, Amarr - average at pvp and sucks at pve.
If those hints were made no one would complain why they can't do this and that.
Plus making those hints will be 100000x times cheaper and faster then balancing this game so every "race" could do everything equally.
When the Amarr ships will be able to choose the damage type like other races on their primary weapon systems?! |
