I have never recieved the lvl 4 mission "Worlds Collide" before, and I am wondering if it is because CCP only allows a certain amount of people to do this mission at any given time. Which brings me to the subject of is topic, does farming a mission affect if you will get a mission or not?
Cheers!

I've had it come up a number of times for my agents in lower sec space but never from the lvl 4 I use in higher sec space. Don't know if this is coincidence.

I have had it several times with several agents in high-sec.
*I dislike the mission though - and have rejected it all but three times*

The level 4 version is only available in low secure space, 0.4 and lower if I remember correctly. The level 1 version does not have those restrictions.

How recently was that change made
I've done worlds collide l4 in empire several times, although not in the past several weeks (not been running missions at all, actually).

I think all of you claiming to have received Worlds collide in secure space have got it wrong. The mission is working as intended and is only given in 0.4 or lover and does not need looking into.

Yes I have never got world's collide in high sec. The best high sec gives is enemies abound. I think you noobs are confusing the two.

I did this mission in its lvl4 incarnation few days ago in 0.5 sec. I am very sure about this, because i lost my BS there... I give you the advice to do this mission alone, as all rats aggro the second ship that warps in. I dont know if that works as intended this way, but i think it should be changed.

hehe sounds like a bunch of peeps don't want their farmable highsec missions going away. I wasn't aware it was only supposed to be a lowsec thing.......obviously it's broken.

Confused? Nah. This is NOT a 0.4 only mission.
As evidenced by the -2.7218 standing I lost for declining it from my agent in Dodixie (0.9).
Worlds Collide and In the Midst Of Deadspace - back to back -2.7218 standing.

This is definitely not true. I've done the level 4 version of Worlds Colide in several high-sec (above 0.5) system.

Apparently only the Angel Cartel version was set to only happen in low secure space. The others are working correctly on our development server, but I have no ETA at this time on when TQ will be updated with those changes.

Me and another char of mine are both based On Motsu, sec level 0.9, Agent Toras Egassuo, Caldari navy Lv4, qual 18.
Got last Worlds Collide two days ago. Come out pretty regulary, and once I've got 2 times back to back.
I don't see why those missions must be in below 0.5 only, to be honest.
Regards.

Edited by: Esab on 07/06/2006 10:55:28 I do Worlds collide at least once a week in a 0.6 system. I never realised that some missions were restricted to low sec space. I guessed that some agents dont give out the same missions as others but never realised it was also based on system security.

Hi, I got this mission too. And its difficult like hell, or am I doing something wrong? I am flying a Drone-Domi with Large T2 repper (indefinite) and 4 point tech1 tank. But even at the entrance gate all rats aggro me at once and I have a hard time getting them down without my tank failing. BTW: curse those jamming rats! They confuse my drones everytime. Stage two of that seems impossible to me, since extreme damage from several BS, Cruisers an frigs.
Any hints for that mission? Is it just a run through mission, or is the ship not the best for this mission?
Thx for your answers, infernal

I totally sympothise with Infernal about it.I got worlds collide as the 3rd every lvl4 mission! I fly a raven and i used 6 cruse II's,2 e500 nos, med-4 tkII hardiners,tkII x-large sheild amp and Domination 27.5 sheild boost amp with 2 Ballistic upgrade II's in lows and 3 PDS's. I REALLY struggled on this mission,my tatic was to tank for the angels and also fit missles damage for them and fly in there direction as fast as i could. i first took out cruisers then all the frigs that i no have warp jamming abilitys then if i had any cap left a few of the gisti ship frigs then warp the hell out.I would then rewarp in my pod which makes them all fly back to there start positions as they cannot shoot you.i then repeat the first step and fit gisti tanks.I do this cos cannot tank all the battleships and reming cruisers as by now are all 15k from warp in point!
On the second gate Infernal what id suggest if you can get some decent distance, get about 60-70km from the group around the gate then hit as hard as you can at there warpjamming frigs first for safety purposes "unless your wearing a warp stabiliser" then the cruisers ect and jump through the gate. the last stae aggros you immedatly and i find it the hardest stage as your geting scrambled, and you have 4 battleships and a ton of cruisers to tank.
The problem i find with this mission is u really need to hurry due to the fact that the ships respawn so quickly which i think means that the mission is nearly up un farmable with the exception of the 2nd and 3rd gate as long as you dont agrro them there.
I would just run it first gate as fast as i can but becaues i fly a raven its not plesant getting to the gate at 156mps lol

Reason being...?
That sucks, tbh. LP is much lower in safe space, that should be enough.

I get worlds collide plenty in khanid.
I do wonder how far CCP are going to take the whole low sec / 0.0 thing - a lot of people just don't want to do that, does it hurt their pvp to have subcribers who just do their own thing in high sec?
Do they think making high sec less and less interesting will force people into low sec - it won't - they'll just leave the game.

I agree with the above poster. People who don't wanna go into low sec arn't gonna do it, if you force em to they will just quit. A vast majority of mmorpg players play for PvE, not PvP. EVE caters to PvP atm, but the more love PvE gets the more EVE will grow.
If you get enough PvE'ers, eventually some will start venturing into PvP as well, which will help the PvP'ers. You just need to let them get comfortable with all aspects of the game, not force them into it.

don't move it to low sec only - great mission, one of the few that poses a bit of a challenge.

Heck, yeah. If the hard level 4 missions are moved to .4 and lower, I see no reason why I should play EVE anymore. We need more content, not that the best content made to eve is moved out of our reach.

Agreed If that was to happen I would leave Eve(and no, no one can have my stuff ) . ****es me off when i see **** like this i've been deep into 0.0 and it sucks tbh. If you want to **** off your player base this is a good way of going about it. -----------------------------------------------

Well I'm for leaving it how it is. Only problem I'd like changed is make the angel/blood WC easier... i have to always turn them down, it is nearly impossible, no one has been able to do it w/o nearly dieng in the lvl 4 channel.

That is probably the most ridiculous comment I have ever seen. If people are forced to do lvl 4 missions in low sec space the queue of griefer and gank squads will line up across the Eve universe to catch the mission runners. -----------------------------------------------
