Ok im not sure if the Hawk was supposed to change during the new patch but i had read on my corps forums that it was becoming a true missle boat. Is that true?

I think they might have screwed it up, notice no difference in my hawk
(italics is patch note, normal is from the description)
The Hawk launcher rate of fire bonus has been changed to missile kinetic damage bonus
Caldari Frigate Skill Bonus: 5% bonus to Missile Launcher rate of fire,
and the hybrid optimal bonus has been changed to missile velocity bonus. It also has a higher power output and a new high power slot.
10% bonus to Small Hybrid Turret optimal range
and a new high power slot.
Nope still has 4 high power slots and 2 missile lauchers max
Either CCP missed changing the description, the changes didn't happen or I am having a very blonde day. Flew my hawk for a few minutes today and noticed no difference. still as kruddy as it was

"There is a static update being prepared but it will not be ready for when the patch will be deployed. Once the static is ready, it will be deployed to TQ and all the changes added to the patchnotes. Below are the changes that will be in the static update. It will probably be a week to 2 after the patch max."
from the patchnotes, thats why you dont see the changes to any ship becouse its not implemented yet.

I read last night from the dev that the Hawk will be a missile boat but they had some one off of work that did the database stuff and all that technical stuff he went on about. Anyway he stated point of fact the Hawk is changing to a missile boat as soon as they get the DBA guy off his drinking tour... well maybe it was not a drinking tour but I have a poor memory.
Then again maybe it was just an excuse and it is all a conspiracy to make us Hawk lovers feel bad... never know... "enter scary type music"

Read the patch notes.
The patch yesterday was merely the client changes and such. The static patch which contains all the ship changes, such as the Hawk changes and Typhoon changes (yay!) will be in the next 1-2 weeks.
Of course, 1-2 weeks could also translate to soon(tm).
