Hey...
I was just browing through a variety of games videos and came across this -

Its a planetside video, made by a player - and it's amazingly like our own Eve never fades.... And by 'amazingly like' I mean - it IS the same video (same music, same theme, same style, same implementation - the works)...
Are they made by the same person? Or have ideas been 'borrowed'?

Wow..... something is wrong there.
I play both games and that planetside video is very new. SOE couldnt have dont that, its way too good for their staff. The game videos from them look like crap.
It had to have been the same person, the videos just look too much alike.

EVE Never fades did come first, but the guy who did the Planetside won did eventually admit that he used ENF as his source of inspiration 
Which was nice.

No, it was made some months ago- there was a hoo-ha on the PS forums as indignant Eve players who also play PS accused the maker of the PS video of blatant copying.
He said he was a fan of the Eve Never fades video and wanted to emulate it (or something like that).
Eve vid came first, PS second.

As far as I am concerned the Planetside Trailer is pretty much like ENF with the subtle difference that its a different game and obviously doesn't have all the same referances to pull.
People say the PS trailer is nothing like the Eve trailer but the themes are the same, personally the only way the PS trailer could be any different from the eve trailer was if it was crap. (and yes I am saying its good apart from the fact that I'll feel its a just a copy of enf but PS used as the game instead)
