Ok had a thought for a faction domi, this would be a ultra rare bpc single run drop from ROGUE DRONES 
have a the usual increase in amour,shield and hull hp and pg as with any faction ship and also the increase of a slot, i think a low slot would be more appropriote, youll see why in a sec.
Drone Domi.
Bonus +5 drone control
10% drone damage and hp bonus per gallante bs lv
10% increase in drone bay size per gallante bs lv (well it is a converted domi after all)
now i know your thinking omg 10 drones thats insane with nos and ew it would be unstoppable. so as with destroyers
Note this ship cannot fit moduales that require energy emmisions or electronic warfare skill.
is you want them thats what you have to use your extra drones for.

mabye the +5 a bit strong but how about a decrease in the use of drone control modules that are coming out for carriers?
say like a 99% reduction in cpu and pg

now dont ask for silly things 8 mid slots would be stupid, im just asking for balacing issues, miro may be right tho like the idea of drone control mods forgot about them

I honestly dont think they will.
But Ecm is getting a "Nerf" and nosfs will get a counter or something likely.
So the domi probably wont be vber then...
But still +5 drones, thats nuts, can you say omgbbq ? 
(and drone dmg mods in low slots at the same time  )

Back to reality:
6/6/7 slot layout (or 6/5/8 or even 7/5/7 but both with more pg)
Drone bay is fine, drones are fine, guns are ok as long as you don't try to fit any rails but atm there is not much reasons to be fitting them, nosf+ ecm combo is way better than guns + mwd + injector+web...

I would absolutely love a faction version of the Dom (or the Phoon for that matter).
But that ship would need to make sense, and not be totally overpowered. So same(ish) bonuses as Dom, but with maybe one extra mid and some more grid/armor/shield.

They all have a fixed faction bonus though that sint effected by skills. Drones control range (or maybe speed) may be a slightly more viable one, if its built by rouge drones I'm sure they'd be able to link up to it much better.
Or to increase drone damage slightly have a decrease in drone tracking in general but up their damage slightly then give this ship a bonus to drone tracking. Or just a straigh off bonus to drone tracking although I'm not sure this will have much effect.

only whent the advanced drone ai chip is inserted were you would go. until then its just a upgraded domi.

Maybe not such a bad plan... You just have to put a couple of restrictions on it. First, it's immobile. Second, all of these ships are named "Rogue Drone Silo". Then just wait for the mission runners to come along and take care of the situation.

Logic says: Dominix navy issue. An extra low slot and more HP if you look at the Megathron it would be like that.
But then I wouldnŠt mind an Armageddon navy issue with an extra mid och HP boost

I vote for the faction domi to be an adapted rogue drone version.
I mean look at the rogue drone domi model? its awsome! so many movey bits and neat little things. its so cool,
now personally I'd prefer a +1 per level drone control bonus INSTEAD of the 10%...
something like a drone control range, tracking, or something instead of the gun bonus, maybe no turret hardpoints, or maybe just fewer, would be nifty.
