It's a busy time over here at CCP while we switch to the new "many releases per year" development cadence, of which Kronos is the first.
I just wanted to pause my dev day inbetween drafts of media alerts and social media postings to jump in here and highlight a few reasons why, as a player, I'm excited for Kronos tomorrow. There are plenty to choose from which I am awaiting, these are the ones I'm super excited about.
Mordu's Legion ships.
I'll most likely be investing in a Orthrus for PvP once the prices die down (the warp transition animation is awesome), but I have to say the Barghest is one of those ships that made the SciFi enthusiast in me say OHDAMN when I first saw it.
Solar Flares.
I use CTRL F9 a lot to grab random screenshots while warping around New Eden, so this little change brings much joy to my starfaring heart.
Little Things.
Specifically the color-coded fleet broadcasts. As an occasional Logi pilot, yes please.
Ok ok one more. Drone changes. May Caldari and Amarr drones see the light of day!

The drone changes, oh boy I cant wait to try out my drone damage amplified fighter bombers :D
The new Moa looks epic and the new frigate killer supreme Garmur will arrive as well. Cant wait to fly them :)

I think I am most excited about seeing a more detailed landscape in New Eden, with the Factional Station Exteriors and the new Lens Flares. Don't get me wrong, those Mordu's ships are amazingly well put together, KUDOS to the Artists!
Also, the Serenity.... I mean Moa. Additionally, who doesn't love the Prospect? And those Third-Person Warp Effects? So many new beautiful things to look at! (read as destroy).

Even though I've been seeing all these goodies for a while... I still can't wait to see all of it on TQ!
I'll be chasing you all in a Mordu's Legion killing machine. Mwhahaha!

I know I'm going to absolutely love and hate the Prospect.
Love it when I'm using it, absolutely cursing its existence when someone is in my wormhole in it!

I don't have many things in this awesome release but the one I enjoyed most working on this time was adding the mouse hint to the online/offline notification to show you which labels you've applied to that character you're stalking.
I enjoyed it mostly because you people asked for it, and I like to deliver! :D
other than that, I'm super excited about the release because my co-workers have worked super hard on it to bring you nice things.

Being a fan of spaceships, I love the new Mordus ships and aim to fit a few as soon as I get my hands on them ;D. I've always found missiles to be a cool death delivery system, so aggressive missile spewing pirate ships can host my immortal consciousness any day of the week.
The Garmur also has the best ship name in the game currently. So many good old ones out there though so maybe It's partly the new flavor...but it is a really cool one!
I once knew a dog named Garmur. Good dog too. No missile slots though.

I started this thread because I was genuinely excited for Kronos as an EVE player--having been training some characters towards it for weeks. I did encourage devs (not encourage like "you might want to do this or I'll break your legs" mind you) to post in here if they felt moved to, but it certainly wasn't mandatory or any thing other than a simple email saying it might be cool to show some love to yourselves or others. Glad some of them shared in my excitement.
I think the world can use with a bit more positivity at the end of the day, both internally when everyone is hard at work getting ready to ship stuff and externally when new stuff is coming for people to play with. However, too much positivity does become disingenuous I agree, which is why we're not doing a full social media blitz, series of video interviews etc with "dev excitement" as the theme.
The features, at the end of the day, speak for themselves. Here's hoping I don't have to do any post-patch damage control

I refuse to curb external exultation of personal interests, EVE being one of them. Life is too short not to geek out over geek stuff.
Although it is kind of ironic when I am the person who does edit out mentions of "awesome" and "excited" from devblogs on a regular basis. Maybe I should look into my apparent inconsistent schizophrenia, so your EDIT is well taken.

- Reload Timer has been added to modules in the HUD to indicate the progress of the charge reload while in space.
- Progress of a module repair with Nanite Repair Paste will now show on the module by "eating up" the damage displayed on the module
This is awesome. As I love flying different ships, weapon systems and on different characters with different skills the timers for reloads and repair with nanite is different all the time. A little hand with some nice visualization will make my life a lot easier ;)
And, if he does not burn his modules out again, CCP Fozzie will be able to watch the visuals while the modules are being repaired =P

It's absolutely my pleasure to work on those things, and delivering them to you and hopefully improve your EVE life a tiny bit is what I'm most excited about in Kronos
Having worked a lot on the character creator and the clothes the past, I'm also pretty excited to see you all dressed up in new shiny clothes from the new New Eden Store.

The Policies, chapter EVE Online Terms of Service states:
8. You may not impersonate or present yourself to be a representative of CCP or an EVE Online volunteer. You may not impersonate or falsely present yourself to be a representative of another player, group of players, character or NPC entity.
