Good afternoon all,
I had a question. Occasionally, I pop into a wormhole from null sec to see if there's a ghost site inside. I know that in normal space, they pop up every 6 hours and they're only supposed to be two per region at once. I was curious how often they spawn in wormholes and since you're not really connected to the next hole over, how often you see them? |

Since they were introduced I've personally only ever seen 1 ghost site in a wormhole.

I have seen 2 since they were introduced. They are literally ghosts. |

I have more luck in null sec where it's easy to run around a whole region in an interceptor in 10 minutes and see if you find any. Sometimes I don't find any for a few days and then I'll get lucky 3-4 times in one day. In many cases, others are just beating me too them. I had hoped that they would be perhaps more readily spawned in wormholes since I would think it would be much harder for an average wormholer who doesn't go into 10 other holes every day to have a fair chance to find one. I guess not though. Doesn't mean I still won't pop my head into every wormhole I find and seeing if one's there. |

Did two, the second I blew it up by getting out of range of the can with a loki. I saw a third which was on "contested" space. A fourth that I activated to troll the residents, and a fifth that my old ceo did but forgot to pick up the loot (dear Kynric....)
I know I saw another one but can't remeber where, and a couple on hisec for sure.

I still don't believe there is actually any Ghost sites and will continue to not believe it until i find one myself

I'm pretty new, but went 6 months in WH and never saw one. Then one popped up in my home WH...and two days later another popped up in a C1 on the exit pipeline. |

Ive done 5 in WHs personally, but i think im probably an exception judging by the many "1s" or "nevers" on here. I dont think youll see one for quite a while if your just day trpping into a Wh and then back out. We find them "often" because we frequently scan through large chains of empty Whs, so the chances of finding them is marginally higher than that of the more frequented lower class whs your probably checking.

I have a similar experience to exo, about 5 found so far, that is mostly found by alliance mates and hacked together for more profitsssss. It's an easy 50-200 mil every now and then, but finding more than 2 per month... Naah. |

I've only ever seen 6-7 or so throughout all classes of wormholes. I scout like crazy though and have probably missed a bunch jumping holes.

I've seen 5 myself... with varying degree of success...
First one in our home system, done with multiple passive drake... damage was insignifiant... Got one of the few 'Wetu Mobile Depot'.
Second was in null, someone activated it before I could go check it out.
Third was in a nearby C5, managed to get my passive 1600 plated Stratios blown up with the just looted Ascendancy Delta blueprint. 
Fourth, again in our home system, again multiple drake, tengu (without the right subsystem) we managed to blown up every can we tried. Damage was insignifiant again...
Fifth, in a C2 was just coming back with my new Stratios fit, to try it out again! Warped to site to realize I had everything right on my fit except I forgot to fit the relic analyzer... *facepalm*

I just do it in a helios with a buddy, cargo scan, hack the (sometimes two) most expensive cans, one per person, then bail out.
So far I haven't been blown up by whatever the hell spawns. |

I made 500 mill in profits building the ascendency implant out of the bpc I got from one site. I did it in a buzzard.
