I have been playing off and on since release, and I have about 15.5 million skill points. I have several level 3 agents, and my status with them is 9.0+... I own every mission that is given me.
So...
Why have I never moved up to a level 4 agent? Why have I never found a T2 BP? Why has a T2 item never dropped for me? Why am I so unlucky?

Edited by: Raven Aure on 09/06/2006 00:08:12 Um. What's stopping you getting level IV agents? I've been playing since September and have been using them for months. ______________________ 106 days and still a hijack virgin... Cherry popped! ~kieron

What does that have to do with luck? _______________________

T2 items don't drop in missions, nor do T2 BPOs... and its your fault you haven't moved to a level 4 agent...

1: Are you sure you can't use one, it's not a random lottery btw, you gain a set amount of corporate and faction standing for every mission and loose some for every mission failed. That is the only thing that effects getting lvl 4 agents.
2: You don't just find a T2 blueprint, you get it from the R&D Department.
3: T2 items never drop from npc's or missions.
4: None of this is luck.
Someone here needs to learn the game a wee bit better. Of course this may just be a joke post in which case I am the fool . _____________________________________________

Then how do T2 items get in game? Are they all manufactured from the "lucky" few corporations that own the BPOs?
Perhaps, my agents won't send me up to level 4 because they are mostly legal, admin, and manufacturing... perhaps I need a security mission agent?

Its R&D, you need science 5 and an appropriate science skills trained plus a compatable R&D agent. They are plenty of guides on the forums to these.

Heh. Funny. Some of us, actually have real jobs. So playing Eve is not our main job. I have not increased my Science skills at all, but I have a ton of missile, engineering, electronic, mechanic skills maxed out... as I use these skills frequently.

I suggest moving over to the missions forums and reading through the sticky topics up top. You need some remedial training.

Why do certain people always say "OMG, I have a job, I cannot afford to live in the game like you slackers" when getting told that they are quite ignorant about the game mechanics.
Well, newsflash, it does not take long to inform oneself how things work. It takes about as much time as doing one single lvl 3 mission to read through the stickies in the mission forum. So, tell us, why did your job stop you from informing yourself but apparently did not stop you from doing numerous lvl 3 missions and getting a 9.0 standing?
Ah, wait, it didn't. You just were to lazy to inform yourself and are now using half-assed excuses instead of simply admitting it.

So having a real job precludes you from spending 10 minutes reading a few short FAQs?

I have a "real job". I also managed to read the player guide before I paid a subscription on my trial account. It told me about R&D. This was a good thing, as I am now the proud owner of a T2 BPO. Even if it is a crappy T2 missile BPO.
I've sold at least 100 of them. Soon I'll be rich.

Not to be a total git, but how do you play long enough to get to 9.0 standing, since you don't have much time to play, without learning the basics of T2 manufacturing or how to get to L4 agents?
Oh, yeah, you don't take the time to read the faqs while flying to your mission destination.

We have FAQs for this game?
I better go find them. I've only been here three years, so it's hardly my fault I didn't notice yet ________________________________________________
