Really exceptional work CCP.
After spending nearly a year on drone skills I have only 94 days of training left to get back up to the level of effectiveness I had on Monday.
Thank you for consistently CCPing my Eve experience. I can't imagine it any other way.

Nerfing the freighter that way, wow.. Can't belive that...
It was not needed, it add nothing uselfull the player's who use them can like and will only make the gankers happy. Now to get a decent cargo space in them you need to add cargo expanders and in clear it mean, making the freighters slower and easy to kill than before. Considering the m3 you can put into small transport ship like the miasmos, you should reduce the skin size of some freighters by a lot, it's ridiculous.
To me, this nerf on freighters is just an add to the love about Gankers ccp is having.
Having an orca, i don't see why i would want to use my freighter again and i will probably sell it in protest.
With the coming nerf on refine in empire where was the need to also nerf the mining yield /Hours about Ore ? Now, you get less Ore /Hours and you also waste more mining crystals.
This leave me only one Question. Anyway i can know what are the next, and next, and next coming nerf to my gameplay path way ? When you get more frustration than fun in a game i think it's time to move on (for me, now) cause i don't see any good news coming up for me anytime soon about ANY of the path way i selected.

Agreed. I understand the need to modify a game as time progresses and aspects are added. That being said, for everyone to get both light and med drone skills from a previous skill that has evolved is understandable. Where I'm confused is that two skills were then utilized where you only needed one OR the other to get both new skills. So for those of us who trained both old skills to level 5 basically got our characters nerfed. Or am I missing something? |

If you had CDO V it means you still gained a free 1x skill
If you had neither CDO or SCO trained you kept the same SP
Either way, there is no circumstances in which you lost SP so you shouldn't get a refund. |

After all these changes made to drones, skills and also the upcoming changes in industry, don't you think it's time for a bonus remapping for the attributes?
Many skillplans are now undergoing massive changes i think, and the most of them are long time skills, so you would do the playerbase a great favor.

I really like the new warp effect, however it's too subtle. The effect is often hidden by my overview icons and goes by too quickly.
- Is there any chance the effect could be sustained a second or two longer?
- Could the streak of the ships warping away be made a little longer too? Currently it looks like a very short stubby streak.
- Also, if the 'popping' light-flash of warp could be made just a little bit bigger as to be better seen from behind the overview icons, that would be great!
As I said, it's a really nice effect but way too subtle; even sitting outside jita 4-4 I have to ctrl- F9 it to see the effects. |

I've have been doing relic sites since patch day. I noticed significantly less sites in my usual region. Could be ofc just the competition, but didn't see more other explorers flying around then usual. Second thing I noticed is that loot drops has been nerfed greatly, by 50% in value at least. Hoping that devs didn't nerfed the loot tables looking just on the percentage of destroyed cans nobody is even try to catch (scrap, equipment, data). Could be just bad luck, but before the patch I earned 3 times more almost every day. |

Confirming that Relic Sites got + 50% nerf in loot value. My first reaction was too that it was bad luck, but nope, after several sites it was all clear.
It now makes you regret the awful loot spew mechanic that was removed.

So, it's ok to give a skill to players for free, without reimbursing those who trained that skill, as long as CCP doesn't decrease anyone's SP overall? CCP can give everyone Titan V as long as they make it take longer to train for anyone new?

I agree with this poster - warp effect is great but there's room to make it even better. It would be cool if a small "ring"/"pop"/"rift" in space was added along with warp lines or something when a ship drops out of warp as well. |

As part of fixing the capacitor problems with the Mining Barges and Exhumers in Kronos 1.1 (released 2014.06.05), were there other unannounced capacitor changes that affected other ships?
Yesterday, I was cap-stable at 27.61% in my Tengu.
Today, my capacitor runs out at 12:52. |

Pretty happy with the changes I've poked at so far.
I miss the loot scattering mechanic a bit, but I guess I don't mind that hacking sites are much faster now than they were.
New stations look amazing.
Not had a chance to fly any of the new Mordus ships yet (on TQ, anyway), and the updated hulls for the Crow and Moa and their cousins look amazing. (Also: obligatory mention that the new Panther = Battlestar.)
The new tooltips are amazing - especially the capacitor and H/A/S readouts that update in real time as opposed to just once per second. Watching the capacitor values whizz up and down on a larger ship as modules activate is a lot more fun than it should be.
And the reload timers are a seriously welcome change - we've needed those for ages, and the decision to go with a clockwise rotation, reverse of the standard activation animation, is perfect.
That said, I think there's a couple places where that timer is missing but should be added. Specifically, cloaking devices and micro jump drives.
Cloaking devices have two timers associated with them - the reactivation delay, and the targeting delay. Putting one, or both of these (if possible), onto the modules would be amazingly useful. If I had to pick one of the two, I would probably go with the reactivation delay, since the targeting one is worked around with the very professional and elite "spam control-click until it starts locking" technique and the reactivation delay is something that can easily be messed up by a player who's in a rush to recloak for some reason. (Ever accidentally activated and then immediately deactivated your cloak because you pressed the button twice by accident or in a rush?)
MJDs also have two timers associated with them - their spool-up timer, which uses an activation cycle timer animation already, and the cooldown timer where you can't activate the module again. This second timer is completely hidden from the player except by either using a timer outside of the client (I actually do this on some ships), or repeated attempts to activate the module spamming the log with a "you can't activate this module yet, please wait X seconds", which just like the cloaking device, can result in an unwanted activation. Drone stats change on a fairly regular basis, so I just adapt to each new tweak, but the logic that this is done to make them more accessible to new players more quickly baffles me.
What next, the ability ti fly a Titan in a week or so, so that new players have access to them more quickly? This is not a signature. |

the jf nerf was unnessesary and a show off of ccp employees who have nothing else to do than bug fixing wich they just try to ignore ( soem for years) as long as possible
now ofcourse it is easier to ban ppl of saying it is ban evasion than to actualy sovle the isseu ( another example of bored employees)
in the last 5 years ive seen 1 good patch and that was the changes in the scanning susyem ( skill wise )
for the rest all chanegs were eighter crap eighter fully useless |

Not happy with the changes to the Rattlesnake.... The ship was a mini carrier for lvl4s and 5s.. I've ben training noobs on how to conduct lvl4s and now without the huge drone bay I cant fit the T2 shield rep drones to help the new guys get throw the mission without losing there ships..... I was exited for this patch... but so fair Im giving it a -3 out of 5.
half of the Reason I went for the snake in the first place was that there was a 400m3 drone bay and nice traits for light drones... now I have to use heavy dones... and with how rats attack drones these days... well lets just say this is gonna be a pain in the ass and my wallet. the old Rattlesnake also allowed there the be a vast amount of drones I could carry at one time, making it ideal for my needs... now its just a solo lvl4 ship...
I was 100% happy with the old Rattlesnake, and now I feel like I should go for somethen other |

Um.... you're joking right? The new rattlesnake may have had a drone bay nerf but that was to compensate for the fact that you only need two drones to do the work of 5 now. Have you even tried it yet? Plus the ship is really oriented specifically for the gecko (which make sense since it's a guirista drone and ship). A single gecko and t2 cruise can absolutely decimate missions outputting over 1200 dps now without even trying. The gecko with the tracking speed it gets is capable of even hitting frigates and is so fast you'll never need to use anything else unless you want to whip out some wardens for extreme range Don't forget with the new sentry changes you're ridiculously lethal even with t1 sentries. You mentioned it being hard on your wallet but you are forgetting that boost isn't just to the damage of drones but also their tank! You almost don't have to worry about your heavys due to the ridiculous ehp. most missions I have tried i don't even worry about my single gecko because even when the whole room is attacking the thing they can't beat it's passive shield regen. Seriously give it a shot..... it's a death machine for pretty much any lvl 4 now.
Edit: O and if you really want to have a good laugh put some torps on the thing with a range rig or two and laugh like a maniacal villian as you are extirpate everything within 20K of you with nearly 1500 dps!! |
