Kronos, EVE Online's first release under the new six week deployment cycle, has been successfully deployed!
This release brings a huge amount of content with a full set of new pirate ships, more than three dozen rebalanced ships, audio customization, new and rebalanced modules, beautiful new visual effects, a reworked New Eden Store and much more.
For full details of this release please check the patch notes.
When reporting issues, please specify which client you are using (Mac or PC). Please note that we also have a specific Mac client feedback & issues thread.

Can anyone in game verify that the Drone skill changes are correct & Eve Gate is just screwed? Hi Baltra, could you try the following please?

The button rolls over to LAUNCHING then after about 10 seconds goes back tho PLAY. I have cleared the Cache and retried to no avail.

Why does it show I have combat skill level drop from level 5 to level 4. And no Light Operation skill is on the list? Light Operations was not a new skill, it was the Scout Drone renamed and the name did not update on EVE Gate. This has all been fixed now. Erlendur S. This is not in accordance withe the devblog, since it specifically stated we would be getting the same level in both new skills, not the same SP.
Personally, I think giving away 256k SP to newbros is pretty generous. Seems CCP has to make it a solid 512k.
We've doubled checked everything and it looks like to be working as described in the dev blog - if you had level 5 Scout Drone Operation before the patch you should now have level 5 Medium Drone Operation and level 5 Light Drone Operation after, even though Medium Drone is rank 2 as you say.
If this isn't the case for one of your characters please submit a support ticket and we'll get it taken care of.

Hey guys. We had cleaned up the warp capacitor need numbers for the barges and exhumers as part of their changes behind the scenes, but after your feedback I took another close look and the warp use is a bit high for a ship with a cap pool as small as the Retriver. I'll bump the cap use down, and the change should hit TQ in the next day or so.

Thanks for the feedback. This fix is for the retriever only or all barges? Because not being able to make a 62au warp in a mackinaw when I can make it in a kestrel seems a bit absurd.

Thanks for all the reports regarding problems accessing the New Eden Store.
Firstly let me just clarify what has been said previously. The launcher is required to access the New Eden Store. This is because the store requires an authentication key provided by the launcher for its secure CREST connection. Additionally, if your connection is being routed through a proxy this can invalidate the certificatation provided to the store, also making it unavailable.
If you've read the above points and these do not apply to yourself, there is something else you can try for the time being:
1. Navigate to your EVE directory (For me its C:\Program Files (x86)\CCP\EVE). 2. Launch the eve.exe application (Not the EVE Online Launcher shortcut) 3. Wait for the launcher to appear and enter the game normally. 4. Open the store. 5. Rejoice!
We've observed an case where launching the game using the conventional launcher shortcut would cause it to look for certification in the wrong place, and the above steps should allow you to access the store while we hunt down the route of this problem.

3. Clear all cached data.

Just a FYI that we are still tracking down the issue with COSMOS site containers not refilling with loot so unfortunately they will still be broken until we nail this down. As soon as it's fixed we'll get it out to you with the next available update.

Yeah, some of them work, some of them appear to refill but don't contain anything. This is the issue. Working on it now, as well as the double failure issue with containers within data and relic sites. Will keep you all in the loop. Team Space Glitter |

Update: The issue with Hacking and Archaeology containers not exploding after a double fail has been fixed and will come out tomorrow. The refilling of the COSMOS containers has been fixed and will be released on Tuesday. Team Space Glitter |

(The inability to hack them and the locked analyzer module issues were symptoms of this) The refilling of the COSMOS containers has been fixed and will be released on Tuesday. What I found: Entering the cosmos hacking/archeology site for the first time allows you to get loot from all cans (if someone didnt mess them uo before you got there, see below). There is 20 minutes timer to respawn the loot in cans. But the cans dont "lock" themselves within those 20 minutes and you can access the can even without the use of analyzer. Normally you would get message "you need special equipment to access..." if you try to open can after they newly respawned . You can also activate analyzer on these newly respawned cans and successfully hack them, but doing so will get the can stuck without giving you any loot and it becomes stuck until downtime. One can reset all the hacked cans by (everybody) leaving the site and on coming back all newly respawned cans or hacked cans will be properly reset "in locked state" and now saying "you need special equipment to access..." . After hacking this cans with analyzer you get loot and can wait for another 20 minute cycle. But you will need to leave the site before trying to hack these cans again. Another thing: leaving any loot inside the hacked cans will get them stuck same way until downtime no matter what... Hopefully this will get the bugs resolved soon, so we can get to continue our hunt for eve riches in cosmos sites back to normal..
