I hope those tights are intended to be wearable under all other types of clothing so that they can be worn with skirts and such. That would be great!
And that headgear... old school! You're welcome :)
The Tights are "Bottoms", so they should be wearable with anything that a) doesn't use that same group and b) allows bottoms to be added.
The Space Suit uses the groups Outer, Bottoms and Footwear
The Headwear is "Hair Styles", so it's possible that you're stuck with the Bob-ish hair.

Ideally they should get their own special layer, in the same way that the dress jacket has the mid layer, which can be worn under skirts.
And I really hope the headwear doesn't limit you to a specific hairstyle. That'd be annoying. We don't mind clipping, devs! I guessed that this might cause some troubles 
If only human bodies had more hardpoints to attach apparel to ... but I guess that'd require an overhaul of the character editor. And I guess that there's no DEV resources to make that happen anytime soon (even soonGäó is highly doubtful).
