I was hoping this thread would be about actual ship spinning improvements such as ability to compete with others at the same station, Roman numeral counter, secret music tracks when you hit milestones, free PLEX for 10k spins instead of 30k spins as it is now.. .. when everything else is gone .. |

Hint: We've already discussed poker tables and Ye Olde Taverne stuff. I mean what would YOU put there that isn't terrible and immersion breaking but would be more interesting than shooting other people in beautifully rendered ships in space? .. when everything else is gone .. |

To ask this is like asking me to design a whole game in one post. Just start with what you mentioned and keep adding from there.
Let's talk about your ideas: What if we could also kill each other and then try to steal a portion of the other's isk by stealing a card or some information stored on an implant on them and then trying to hack into a terminal? I like this idea (maybe not necessarily the implementation) because it brings non-consensual PVP everywhere, even when you're inside a station (albeit with rules per sec, or something like that).
Evade concord on foot and the person's body guard using stealth mechanics. I like stealth gameplay, assassinations, stealing, pickpocketing, etc. I think if this doesn't bring twitch gameplay to EVE then it could have potential.
What about adding smuggling missions for criminal elements in New Eden? New Eden does need more drugs with more awesome benefits that people have the motivation to cook and smuggle. But I think this is more of an industry/FIS thing rather than WIS.. unless you mean I should actually balance a boiling flask on a burner using my mouse and then time a reaction and look for color, etc. (I think this is tedious.. minigames should be kept to a minimum imho)
What about assassination missions or the sort that someone like a capsuleer who looks relatively like a normal human is much more suited to carry out rather than a dust 514 mercenary, and doesn't risk truly dying? I think there should be penalties for walking around outside your pod. The transmission circuitry to send your consciousness to the next clone would have to be lightweight and possible of limited function, so there would be some penalities to walking around and trying to assassinate someone. .. when everything else is gone .. |
