Well, I'm slightly bored of all the "Tux fix this" "Tux fix that" there are some small tweaks that can be changed here and there but, I'm more concerned on being able to run two clients fine or even one client without the random lockups where my memory creep's up for half a minute before i can get back into the game again.
the cap & shield bug, i lost a mega to that the other week but what can you do really. Another bug that really annoys me is the overview one where it doesnt update distances its a really good one.
Well the main reason of this rant is i'd rather see client and performance updates than having some module "Fixed" or "Nerfed" due the 25% of the player base that a whining about it. i've played this game for over a year and i can say i've probably lost a fair few fights to nos ships. i've lost an inty or two to precision ravens. i've been in inty gangs where we sucessfully killed a bs with 4 people and the bs even had nos, fancy that. Nos is fine. Fleet battles are fine other than performance issues the server could do with a load ballancing option where it automatically detects fleet movement. fleets populating a system etc and allocates more resources to that subcluster.
anyway end of my rant. please don't modify nos it's perfectly fine as it is. just some people can't addapt in situations
so the next best thing is to whine

I think it is very important to let ECM take their nerf and then sit back and wait a while before deciding what to whack on next.
BTW who is the girl in your sig?

yeah ecm could use a little change I suppose, but it's all part of the game plan the ECCM module could use a little buff imho. against a good Scorp pilot with a racial that gives about 10points the 30% t2 lowslot one gives you about 10% less chance of being jammed in a Megathron.

They're not exclusive goals. They have many devs with different skills working in different areas, so presumably everything will get improved.

What bug is this... the one where the displayed cap/shield doesn't match your actual cap/shield levels?
That one's caused by client desync, not much CCP can do about that. Just need a motherboard with a more accurate clock, or to run one of the timer hacks.

yes that one, i had it a while ago like near on a year about a month or two after i started playing then it was fine. then i got it the other day after lagging out at a gate on warp in for about half a minute was fully responsive & stuff just didnt show what was on the gate around me. it might be something to do with the clock sync with the heat faffing about with resistances et all. have you got a link to one of the timer hacks? other than that bar this motherboard being short of 3 years old it should be pretty stable on the clocks. /me swears by nf7-s v2.0

I'm certain that's the problem now; nForce 2's are notorious for it.
Give ClockMon a shot.

Those type of threads are getting pretty old. This forum is for discussions not for telling Tux what to do or not do.

You don't balance a system based on new pilots and ganging someone 4 on 1. Doesn't work that way... Why are you posting balance examples off that small battle?

the fact is we managed to defeat "The Evil nos ship" with interceptors. coincidinkly people wanting nos nerfed use the examples of not being able to defeat battleships that use nosferatu's the fact is the counter to nos in frigates is a good setup i.e ranged so if you get crippled by nos you dont have to crawl out from sub 10k while nossed. also good teamwork is essential. exile was a great group of ingame friends small corp so we knew eachother well, we'd lark about on traveling and stuff but in a combat situation we'd be swapping status etc and if one of us got nossed / had to bail one of the other guys would point while whoever got hit recouped. and you cant really "gank" a battleship with 4 frigs
