I've not flown one for a while (quite a while before rev), but a favourite setup of mine was 5x 220mm IIs, 3 medium nos, mwd, web/scram, guess the rest :D. Wasnt great solo vs gangs but was capable of taking on a few solo hacs etc.. and it rocked...

I've had my mach dish out over 600dps with 1400IIs, but its in the form of 6000+damage, then a ten second wait until the next volley :D.

I used to do l3's fairly rapidly in a retribution. 4x medium pulse II ab rep, cap relay or 2, thermal membrane, heatsink or 2. Can't remember if it was 2 damage mods or 2 cap mods sorry.

Ditch the 2 1600 plates in favour of something more useful, be that hardeners, cap mods or damage mods. Ditch the 2 nos, fit 3 guns and a large smartbomb if you can, I'd suggest 1200mms for that sort of range. Get out to your desired range, then...

3x 150mm autocannons, small nos ab/mwd+scrambler, or web + scrambler small rep, damage control, 200/400mm armor plate, and an MAPC if you need one. mix fusion, emp, and phased plasma ammo for a good damage type balance.

Realistically, you're looking at 250-280ish from the enyo/harpy/retribution. The retribution needs to reload a lot less with conflags though than the others do with void, and when it does reload, it does it in 1 second

Fit ions it'll make the fitting much easier, large rep and mwd are a must. Drop those energized adaptives for a damage control if you really want increased resistance as well as 2 1600 plates, a cpr or tracking mod would be more useful.
