Hes managed a good Alliance F-E Hes CEO of a very old and good Corp CDI If you talk to him ,He speaks the truth . A down to earth nice guy so leave the crap out . Id rather fly with krullz then 80% of EVE .
Have fun then, cuz 80% wouldn't. And it wasn't Krullz that kept FE together that's for sure.

A true test of an alliance is when outside forces give them a true test.
Now, I've been in lots of alliance's since the dawn of eve time, and the only reason why alliance fail is from within.
Our smaller alliance was at war with them, but I extremely doubt we were a large factor in their downfall. It always comes from within, sure a little outside pressure helps, but thats it in a nutshell.
Anyhows, there's lots of cool people in VOID that I got to know, and hopefully will remain on friendly terms with. ______________________

Void had a series of well d2 and friends are way bigger. void could not match the forces that they could put up. so i think in a effort they just said forget this noise give cdc the region and move along and rebuild. it had a lil to do with kullz and his stupid inferoity complex.
from what i hear alot of them are possibly going to v. maby some were else not my position to say. any were they go im shure they will prospire.
my word is gl 2 bsc/dr/du thiere other but i forget names :(

Ok, moderators, which one of you smart motherefferz removed my post entirely? Would you be so kind and explain yourselves? Your "click" despotism really makes no sense whatsoever in this case. If just a little bit of sarcasm is too much for you to wrap your brains around, give up your job as you're not cut out for it...
Sheesh!!!

I think it just suffered from a massive case of Deserters. A few people left, sort of crippling VOID, then I suppose most of the rest simply asked themselves "Why the hell are we staying here...?" And they left. I know that why I did despite some truly great people flying under that banner.

Edited by: Vishnej on 13/06/2006 03:31:00 It was the combination of an inability to handle the D2 bloc (though we might have enjoyed a fight with CDC alone) along with an inability to clear out Geminate completely. Our wallets were sapped from fighting far too many area hostiles to start up an insurgency alliance. The anti-D2 forces wanted to remain independant, recruitment prospects and ex-membercorps were going southeast, and it seemed like the map was forming up into a few superpowers - and VOID wasn't one of them. Being crushed in a D2 / eastern coalition wood chipper, while being nipped at by all the little geminate pirates, was not our idea of fun.
There were some systematic problems - a sprinkling of leadership weaknesses, a territory distribution that was unworkable with the current population of 0.0 - but D2 was the tipping factor.
So we'll see how it goes with -V-, those of us who chose to stick together.
CDC - you deserve the region you were given.

Edited by: SirDeadalot on 13/06/2006 12:47:48 Though I do not formally represent the views of either my corp (BSC) or VOID as a whole, I thought I'd give a 'view from the trenches'.
Firstly, Vishnej's post isn't far off the truth in my view. From a personal perspective, my views on the demise of VOID were a combination of:
1) History - we came from FE and had been at war constantly for at least six months. Whilst fun, this is a bit draining, and detracted from our ability to keep up with the 'capital age' in line with our superpower neighbours.
2) Constant fighting with small alliances and corps in Geminate. We held our own, IMHO, but again this meant we were always losing isk and our cap ship fleets were not building at the pace they could've been. As an example, BSC remained at or near the top of the VOID killboards for VOID's entire life - quite telling given that BSC is mainly known as an industrial corp.
3) Geminate is a bit of a pain to manage, with stations fairly widely dispersed, so we were always having to split our forces or travel long distances to maintain some form of control.
4) We always knew that if D2 really wanted Geminate, we'd get rolled over. We'd take a lot of them with us, since some of our battlepos's were pretty awesome and we have some decent PVP players, but we simply couldn't have amassed the forces to prevent a takeover.
5) D2-supported CDC came into the region. Whilst we would have had a good chance of holding them off, point 4 above applies. Also, VIRII (leaders of CDC afaik) are very old friends of BSC and I think on a corp level we were not desperately keen to be at war with our friends. Not sure if this applies to other VOID corps.
6) Some internal issues involving CDI were problematic. As a corp grunt I don't really know the details (I guess there are whole threads on this I haven't bothered reading - so please don't trawl it all up again), but from my perspective they split away, annexed LS-JEP temporarily, then joined Cruel Intentions.
7) Some of us just fancied a change and/or a chance to regroup a little.
From what I know, most of VOID have, or soon will be, merging into V. I think some corps have gone their own way or joined CDC.
All in all, VOID has been a good experience, has made me some new friends and taught me a lot about PVP and managing my assets more effectively. I wish everyone involved with VOID well, and bear no malice towards Flashman Services, Ratel, Razor, CDC, CI and all our other friends and enemies in the region.
Please can I reiterate the above are my views, not those of BSC or VOID. ------------------------------------------
