Why not just make all basic implants available from the agents but limit the reward to a maximum of one of each implant per person - that way someone who has a good agent base can get more for sale and anyone is guaranteed to get a set if they put in the work.
And yes, I have only just stopped laughing, all my lvl3 agents are Amarri.

or rather seeing as these are the BASIC implants all agents give them out.
The standard implants are say 2 types per faction.
All the other funky implants which have now been hinted at are faction specific.
that way we avoid the amarr getting dumped on - oh my agents are galente but I can feel their pain.

Well, sounds like CCCP made an arbritary knee jerk reaction to some fear they have. I fail to see the logic in what CCP has done in distributing implants.
Tell me one successfull civilization thats was only interested in one attribute of the human race? Were the Romans only interested in fighting prowess? The Greeks in intelect? The English in how much the mind could hold? The American in Vanity (ok, dont answer that one).
I do not do to many Agent missions, and this has convinced me there really isn't a reason to do them.

Why not just leave the distribution method alone. It is just the first of many items to come. Also, charisma might not be popular right now, but it is still an attribute. I am sure you will not think the same when the Trade, Barter, Black Market, and other charisma based skills come into play and you have a stockpile of Charisma implants.

Yes I would, charisma would still suck because 4 skills is not a great improvement over 1 skill, while there are zillions based on mem and int. ____________________________________ Taggart wants YOU. Join TTi! *waves his hand in your face in the jedi way* |

Well whoopti-do, isnt it a shame CCP nerfed the implants.
BIG DEAL!
When your neighbor buys a porsche at say 20 grand do you go running up to him and whine about the fact you never got one at the same price? No, and EVE is just the same.
This type of thing will always happen, deal with it, find other avenues to explore, if you cant make money in EVE then its just because your not thinking hard enough, I noticed this about myself and have started to think outside the box, belive me it helps
I personally took weeks to get a Level 3 agent before all the implants were out, 200 missions in total for lvl 1 and 2, so i feel my hard work paid off, but I certainly didnt do it to try and get implants....

I totally agree - but why does ccp act like this when the market is used by players as intended (supply & demand) and yet are happy to highlight the lack of Bistot and hence megacyte in the 'News' which has the same effect of everyone panic buying megacyte and/or hoarding it both of which will drive the price up.

I'm glad they did it this way. I only hope when the higher level implants are introduced they make them even harder to find, like drop maybe 1 a Week - Keeps the market going and keeps them in demand rather than completely flooding the marketplace What fun is it if everyone has everything? boring!

I've no idea, it seems strange they nerfed the implants which everyone can get with a bit of effort but miner 2's are still restricted.
I also wouldn't hold your breath for any logical explanation, having played UO for six years and now this I think all devs are accomplished aerobics instructors given the number of knee jerks they manage in any given week after a patch.

Thing is, the super conductor situation isnt just player driven. Conductors are scarce as it is, allowing it to be bought up and the market cornered. This is CCP controll on the market. Also, that they are used in agent missions. This is also CCP controlled. While its true everything is CCP controlled, the directness of it is a little too obvious. ____________________________________ Taggart wants YOU. yeah but you can at least buy the superconductors as they trickle onto the market through the day.
When was the last time you killed something and got a miner2 BP?

If you have a standing buy order, cant you buy up the conductors right away as they trickle in? ____________________________________ Taggart wants YOU. Join TTi! *waves his hand in your face in the jedi way* |
