As the gankers have burn jita I would like to start starve the market, for a month. If we the industrial players do not sell any thing in high sec and low for a month just to show to this gankers that they need us more then they think it would be a good turn around. Plus there would be a higher cost as the penny traders would run out of items, giving us a higher margin thus lining our pockets even more. So don't stop producing and mining just don't sell any of it. I would hope to see this happen on December the 1st 2014. Stand up for ourselves and stop getting the raw end of the stick so eve its us that keeps the world going. |

If the Goons amassed thousends of ship to waste in Jita, with a Fleet of Footsoldiers to do the dirty part, couldent they have amassed products too? What if they hope that the industrialists, make suche a move? And bringing in stuff with lower prices to dry you out? Its not the first Time...years back... a massed attack on mining. Maybe this is the start of somthing new.

Peasants will be peasants. You don't really believe that this petty attempt will change anything at all?
If anything, this would hurt other small guys like yourselves, large NullSec entities won't give a damn anyway, they have renters (read: lower peasants).

While I like this in theory, I just don't see this happening. Maybe if you had the backing of several of the large alliances this might work, but there are just so many "if" factors and pretty much the entirety of eve would have to participate. I have yet to get ganked for anything of real value, but it would be nice to shut up those people who say they gank to show people how they should be playing the game. Apparently if you mine/create things you are hurting the game and everyone should PVP... I guess that's why they added career paths and several other non PVP activities in the game... |

People gotta eat, my friend!
Perhaps there are better ways to achieve your goals, and still feed your children:
1. Refine all your ores into minerals. This promotes local industry, especially after the new changes take effect.
2. De-centralize your marketing. Put your sales orders and contracts up outside of the trade hubs, and try and buy locally too.
This reduces ganks by dispersing trade routes and limiting travel.
3. Tank your ships! The killboards are full of ill-fitted ganked ships. Make things harder to kill in hisec. And don't overdo it, either.
Risk vs reward.
4. Finally, be an active part of the game! Try new things, think outside of the box. Don't cry out for someone to change things for you. Adapt and overcome, Eve rewards thinkers and innovators.
This is YOUR sandbox.
Empire Space is worth fighting for.
