Guys, i desperatly need your help, I've been playing for like a month now, and one fine day when i was flying through 0.4 space doing a mission in a shuttle, when i guy called Izi55IzI open fire without warning. Luckily i managed to get to a stargate and escape. Now, after that i sent him a message, i sent him a Evemail with the following "Make sure i never catch you in >0.4 space pirate!" He sent back "LOL" Whatever, i was happy to leave it at that, forget about it, but then i find out their Corp has declared War on us. The "Partizanski odred Slovenije" [-POS-] wasn't happy with my comment, so get this... They want 200mil for me or 200 of my corpse's... Anyone else think i this is slightly unfair, after some negotiation we managed to get the "ransom" down to 40mil and 40 corpse's but i still think this is unfair, he follows and harrasses (and pods) me everywere i go. He has a bounty of 2.5 mil on his head for killing anyway, and hes doing this for sport. Hes been playing since 2003 and i've been here about a month... This is unjust. If anyone can help me at all, please please contact me, my player name is VanderMarq. I'm going to head to another Corp for a while down south. I encourage and plea to you all to destroy the [-POS-] and all its members at every available oppertunity.
I must go now, this line is insecure and i'm bound to be traced if i stay here any longer.

Not 100% sure but I think there is a limit to how much a person can dedicate themself to annoying one other toon before CCP considers it harrassment.
It's one thing to hunt someone and/or corpmates here and there and another to camp yourself on top of the peep non-stop.

I agree that your smacktalk, or rather attitude, likely sparked this - however, that corp is probably just using it as an excuse to get some money out of you. Contact an anti-griefer corp like Rells' corporation, Agony Unleashed, and see if they can help.
Next time, stfu in local though . Silence is golden.

In general I am with you on that but there are still limits. Imagine one toon dedicated to chasing you at every possible opportunity (and assume they outclassed you by a wide margin). At some point it goes too far.
There is teaching a lesson and there is beating a dead horse.

you see i am on the other end of the spectrum here. I was in highsec the other day flying around looking for miners to steal ore from(in hopes they would shoot me and i could kill them), and to my amazement i see a miner being gaurded by and apoc.
It didnt seem out of the ordinary to me but then i did a quick sho info on him. A 2 month old guy in an APOC!!?? Which where im from is a crime punishable by death.
so i proceed to steal the ore in hopes that the apoc pilot will agress me and i will show him the vacuum of space with my thorax. But nooooooooooooooooooooooo!
anyway i feel bad and jet the ore(cause im not really an ore thief was just really boerd) and let them know and left system. This guy convos me and tells me i was put on his hitlist! well to make a long story short the vote for wardec on his corp is about to pass so we will see how this turns out :)
Moral of the story is put up or shutup.

Is it just me or isn't that rather tame for smack/boasting? I've seen the vitriol and threats spewed towards various pirates a number of times and this seems like Romper Room stuff in comparison with the next worst thing on the list of things to say being, "You're a big doodie head and I'm telling my mom!"
Hardly worth getting your panties in a twist over but whatever floats your boat I guess.

This isn't really a game where you can be smacktalking idiot and get away with it. Unless you want to dump out and rejoin an NPC corp, or ditch your character and start over.
If you have good standing with Surviellance agents you can punch in someone's name and find out where they live, and cause all kinds of trouble. So best to be polite and ignore them and hope the bad men go away. Or group up together and put the hurt on them, either way is good.

lol had some noob pirates attack my vexor in a scorp/ferox/brutix at a gate but the scorp didnt shoot first so the brutix/ferox got pwned by sentries but had stabs and got out and the scorp had hvy missiles on wtf + stabs so he got out now were at war with them

Seriously though, get in a bunch of frigates, and zerg rush them, and if you totally suck and all of you die without killing them, at least you tried . Just don't pay that 40mil, or they'll come again asking for more.

Months ago I was flying with a new corp mate, taking em on a bit of a lowsec tour
We narrowly escaped being pwned by some -10 Pies and made it out of the system by the skin of our teeth.
MY corp mate wanted to know who we had just run from and I linked to the pirate name in chatwindow. Unfortunaltely for me, what with the post shock adrenalin and all, I posted the Evemail link to their name instead of the info. My erstwhile corpmate then took it into his head to send a smack filled message to none other than Keta Min.
I thank my lucky stars that he didnt bring the crap down on us

I once was flying around in my punisher looking for some targets when I found a catalyst mining in a .3. Thinking to myself, no he can't be THAT stupid can he? I shred his ship to pieces and scrambled his pod. When I tried to get a little money for his corpse he was like "I am part of a 400 pilot alliance, YOU must pay me 12 million that we are not going to hunt you."
Okay podded him and closed the convo. But then he convoed again, writing that I will regret this and that I will never see it coming and and and... well... happend to him now that he is first target anyplace anytime, even if there are more lucrative targets around. 
Morale of that: Don't make threats to pirates you can't back up.

Agreed. You'll have to live with it. But now you have learned, and served as an example to others.
Either that or you could try hiding in 1.0 space for a while, sitting in high-sentry areas like stations or at gates, and praying he gets killed before killing you, if he even tries.

I hope you made sure your corpmate learned not to smack people.
If I was a high ranking person/CEO in a corp and that happens, the smacktalker would get podded to learn his lesson. even if he was a corpmate.
