I wrote a concept idea and sent it in about a year and 1/2 ago, months before EVE:VR and later, Valkyrie was announced.
My story went a bit differently, but the soul conclusion was quite similar to Valkyrie in the "dogfighting" scenario and when in length about PVE and PVP possibilities.
I was going to jump out and ask- CCP guys, there are many of us here willing to help with beta testing this thing.
could we see a chance at helping get the kinks out before it blossoms?
Not pushing or anything, but just getting the topic out here, I can't tell you how much it would be appreciated... |

Testing is going to be tricky when the required hardware isn't available to buy :) I'm sure we'll have something once we get further into development.

Well I guess there are quite a lot who bought the Rift and or preordered the DK2, so Betatesting should not be the big deal for those  Btw. I got one just in case you're looking for someone. |

Just curious, what will those who bought the FB goggles do when they are told that their version is now obsolete and they need a new one to play?

The commercial Rift isn't out yet :) And once the first version is out, I'm sure there will be rapid progression of the hardware.. just like you see with computers, smart phones etc.

Im sure a few of us will purchase the Oculus DK2. New orders are expected to begin shipping in September 2014. Those who ordered earlier will have in August 2014... Im personally very eager to have the new model, but i wont preorder till there will be some beta testing version of Valkyrie... Im sure you can find some other folks with the same thinking. |

I hope to get my rift in august although they are now saying that the next shipment is in September. I'm hoping that they will allow those with the rift sets to beta. Who better to test the game than us loyal players.  |

A bunch of us have DK2s now, which have all the basic required features.
FWIW, I would probably play Valkyrie on a daily basis and happily give extensive feedback on it. |
