I see no reason for blops to have the penalty either.
They have low enough scanres already.

Definitely agree. Since we can't get Cov Ops cloaks on them they should at least not have a scan res penalty. |

If CCP gives black ops a role bonus that negates cloaking device scan resolution penalties, they'll cut black ops scan resolution by a third.

This, and buff them to be real battleships instead of Battlecruisers with jump drives.
I dream of the day when I can smash faces in a jump capable Megathron (someone call Baltec). Or Hyperion. T2 black ops Hyperion would be amazing.
Think of it this way, make blops functionally the same as their T1 counterparts, maybe a little stronger. An example, half way between the stats of a T1 Mega and Navy Mega. Because they deserve to be awesome. The jump drive is justified in it's massive price tag. A T1 or faction BS with a shiny fit, costing same as a tech 2 fit black ops costs, would be a wrecking ball comparatively.
