It might happen, but I can definently see why its unlikely. It has the potential to completely unbalance things in the EVE universe. Any war between two of the superpowers would knock those two out of contention, and leave one very clear leader. The amount of resources and manpower to take out one of the three will make it an "all or nothing" affair.

It's actually making for a very interesting scenario.. ASCN - Primarily Defensive / Strong Offence / Strong Logistics BOB - Primarily Offensive / Strong Defence / Strong Logistics D2 - Primarily Offensive / Strong Defence / Strong Logistics Its clear from that who the natural pairing would be, but in all honesty, no one has really tested D2 or BoBs defences. If it happens, It will be bbbiggg :)

I haven't looked to see the exact outlay of the outposts in ASCN space yet (which I surely will soon), but all I'll say is Kali launch is going to be a heck of a busy day for ASCN if I'm thinking what they are thinking :D Nothing in life is quite so sweet as the taste of payback.
