First 3 all under 20k, the 4th was 96k for a Sacrilege BP, about 18 months back. Now have 5 research agents all with over 130krp and still waiting for the next BP. Not that I'm greedy or anything!

I'm working on getting my first R/D agent ... and to be honest I'm a bit disturbed by what I read here 
Can anyone recommend a corp/field of research/agent level with a decent chance of "winning the lottery"?

I'm going to be as broad as possible. go for rocket science or laser physics. With a corp that has a lot of research agents.

I've got a Claymore bpo with roughly 4k RP with my agent, had a total of 5 running with a total of 20k RP. I suppose I might aswell cancel my r&d account now though, since chances of winning anything again are fairly small

im pushing 80k RP for electromagnetic engineering. I started researching when it handed out tech 2 rails and by now I'm no longer irritated as much as amused by how much im getting hosed. |

Interesting tha almost all of the people posting in this thread that have received BPOs have received multiple BPOs.
I'm 99% certain that CCP haven't done anything stupid with their lottery system but it does seem a bit unfair and odd that people either get lots, mostly for fairly low RP counts, or nothing for years with 100's of 1000's of RPs.
I know, it's the nature of randomness, but it's still a very crappy system IMO, and I say that as someone who HAS recieved a BPO.

About 8k for first the BPO (50mm plate), some 20k for the 2nd. With one char doing lazy research.
The question seems about as relevant as asking in RL 'How many tickets you had bought before you hit the jackpot in a lottery?'
Most winners are those who buy semi-regularly one ticket; not those addicts who spend thousands of dollars.

4 agents ( highest lvl3 agents ) for over 2 years and the 5th ( lvl4 agent ) for 6 weeks now and I got none offers yet, got more then double the sp then most of the pre-posters said they got there offer.

I find it interesting that from what i see, people who have been lucky enough to receive a t2 bpo seem more likely to get another one....
