+20% turret damage, +20% missile rate of fire, Whaaaaat?

Omniwing Omnicorps 9	Posted - 2011.11.18 19:37:00 - [1] - Quote So I opened EvE today and on the login screen it says: Free cerebral accelerator with all new accounts +3 to all attributes +20% damage bonus to turret weapons +20% rate of fire to missile weapons So I must be missing something here, because that is obviously insanely overpowered. The 6% rate of fire or 6% damage to turret implants that exist now are the highest you can get and they're like half a bil. So are these going to be char-tied to the new toon itself? If so, everyone will pretty much be forced to make a new char... If you can buy and sell them, then its going to change the face of the game...1200 DPS mission Tengu anyone? Or, am I missing something?
