Are you kidding me? If the servers were merged it would be like open hunting season for us. I'd blow up as many of them as I could. I'd set up a killboard for people to post their kills of Chinese players on. It would be great.

Actully I would not care. If the servers could handle it why not?
I also hate how CCP made the chinese servers. Their universe should be different then ours, and we should all be able to travel to eachother through the EVE Gate. :P
But anyway, would be good with more players if the servers could handle it. Most of 0,0 is empty, imagine 30k more players. But of course they would sitt in empire for at least 1 year to catch up making empire hellhole, which again would promote 0,0. ;) :P

If both servers were simply merged and no new systems were added then I very much expect there would be a big fight over territorry wich the west would initially hold all and be on top of everything however over the following months more and more space would be lost to the east untill in the end a shaky truce is acieved with the west grouping together in frantic hopes of protecting what little we have left.
The main reason for this is that china alone would easilly be able to produce more players than all of the west and after that you have to factor in the rest of asia.
For good or bad this game is about numbers and onlinetime, asia can outdo the west in both easilly.
As for the old carebear-lame ganker question, in my opinion I suspect the spread in asia closelly matches the one in the west.

it would be great if there was some sort of cross over, like if Escrow was linked across both server clusters.
Or maybe a dimensional portal where you could travel over to the CN Dimension

who ever said that chinese people do not like to pvp, obviously hasnt played shadowbane. they dominated that game with numbers, and yeh they loved to pvp. anyone who says they dont like to pvp has played to much wow with the old "chinese farmer" steriotype.

You've obviously not been reading the news. CCP had no option but to set up a seperate server for China because the Chinese government wants to limit the contact it's citizens has with the rest of the world.
But if the political scene ever changes, then parhaps the best way would be to, dare I say it, Set up a 3rd server with a clean galaxy with links to the two current ones and then see how the battle goes.

i just wanna see how long it takes for a chinese BoB to form .
and when such an alliance has formed on that server they shuold transport the chinese BoB and the true BoB to a third server where war will rage. The winner then claims sovreignity of both servers and makes everyone else into mining slaves. i can see it happening.

I heard that eventually they may make it to where you can jump between "Servers" or combine 2 worlds. I could be totally wrong though, but it sure would be neat.

For a whole week tq will be connected with its chinese counterpart. Western players will fight chinese hoards guerilla style, but they would have much more advanced technology in return.
While the chinese players uses t1, the westerners are using t3.
Also only westerners had capital ships or the possibilty to open cyo fields.
That would rox.
