Somehow, considering the popularity of Lineage 2, I doubt the Chinese are going to be carebears

deepends which sever we was on
If it was the china server we would be able to have a Huge Battle
If it was on tq one person would be able to say hi and then the node would die
(i am partly happy about the china server cus hopfully it will show ccp how to fix the lag on tq)

Although, with a server population raised on a diet of Korean RPGs and WoW, those plex npcs are in for a world of pain.

i think the chinese pvp corps would be some of the greatest in eve if we were all on the same server.
in mmorpgs they nearly always want perfect groups etc and dont mind waiting along time to find the right class and player, i think there would be a huge divide though the majority of them dont like playing with people who dont speak there langauge even if they can speak almost perfect english.
some of them are stupidly helpful and if they say they will help you do something they honour there word no matter how many hours it takes.

I'd rejoice finding that the macrofarmers were in player created corporations ready to be engaged, then quit in disgust 24 hours later when some 20k people shift to NPC outfits.

I would first Fire My Entire Corp, claiming that there is no way this corp can stay alive at its current overhead. Then, I would use words like "globalization" and how the market now determines who does the mining. Then I would shift all the mining work to the chinese players, because, well, quite frankly, they cost less, work hard and allow me to make more of a profit.
But hey, that is just me!

The massive, slobbering, lag monster will make its appearance. However, if this was overcome - it would be a massive war. No doubt about it. The Tranq EVEites will face the Serentity EVEites, both would take a looooong look at each other and shoot each other dead.

The prospect of a completely untamed Eve wilderness waiting for its very first explorers is wonderful.
Everyone starting at exactly the same time with exactly the same resources would be a great thing. Drools....

Would be fun, but the Chinese Govt. Wouldn't allow it. We talk about things like Democracy, Freedom of expression and speach.
Communication between players wouldn't be permitted.
Woudl be cool to double the playerbase, and the space. Talk about new markets to take advantage of on both sides once they get a healthy skill base behind them.

From what I've seen of the Chinese server, the only thing increasing in lowsec and 0.0 is the size of the untouched roids.

You'd have all the vets making such a mad dash to setup infrastructure in 0.0 A Small tower with 2-3 turrets would be unkillable since there'd be no dreads to pop them.
