I find this post easy to pick apart:
1) Equally skilled? You know it's very very hard to remove all the variables and get a ship Vs ship comparison, especially where skills are concerned. There are 1001 things affecting ships and their performance, and a fair test here is near impossible. Don't forget that Amarr ships may perform a little worse, after all they don't use Ammo. . .
2) You compared what Vs a Mega precisely? I assume from the quoted post it was an Armageddon. Just a reminder but a 'geddon is 40mil cheaper and an Apoc's role is not a pure damage fleetship by any means. It's a lot better tanker than a Mega (not saying this is good for fleet) and some would argue it's a little more versatile too. True enough that neither Amarr BS can quite match a Mega as a fleet ship but ships have different roles.
My view is that Amarr are for the most part fine. A couple of ships could do with some love (true for all races), Khanid is generally weak and atm damage types are a problem (allbeit one people are keep to blow out of proportion), but like I said every race has its drawbacks.
Finally, I'm not sure who's post you're quoting there, but ending a post with "so please, STFU and go away noob" is hardly a persuasive argument. . .
