Yes we share the same father. But if I were you I would drop the subject before Lance sees any of it. Lance did not live an easy life. And he is a bit testy when it comes to subjects like this. Just a word of advice.

Aye, trust is a fragile thing in the world of eve. But there is none you can trust more then your own family. Your own blood.
Fetty Chico I think you underestimate the feeling of a good honest days work. Give it a try sometimes. I'll think it might suprise you.
Lady Ki'li I am looking forward to continue our little discussion. Last time some bad electronic carrying cloud was blocking my incoming and outgoing messages. And thus I had no other choice then to terminate the comlink with you. I hope you find it in your heart to forgive my rudeness.

Hmm I am starting to wonder if by excluding Theives, Pirates and Beggars from this offer I manage to alienate 95% of all people considering to join a corp? I almost feel tempted to ask them to join as well just to see how many more hits I would get in comparison to what I had so far. Naw just kidding. I rather have just one excellent new member then a 100 not so good members.

Paul,
I may be interested in joining your corp. I'm currently the CEO of a small two man corp (me and my alt) and mainly mine in a very quite .3 system by myself. I have 2 accounts and can use both at the same time.
Both of my characters fly Armageddons.
My main character uses miner 2's, harvesters, and heavy combat drones. I use this character for mining in 1.0 - .1 systems.
My main character has the following skills: mining level 4 (training level 5 now) astrogeology level 4 drones level 5 drone interfacing level 3 heavy drone operation level 2 refining level 5 refinery efficiency level 4 production efficiency level 4 laboratory operation level 3 mass production level 2
My alt is more the fighting wing of my corp and the character I use when mining in 1.0 - 0.0 space. He has mining level 4 and has the skills required to use his lasers effectivly and protect himself.
I'll message you in-game.

Greetings all,
Would just like to offically welcome Captian Jhon and Sunflash into Freelancer corp.
Captian Jhon's current interest is exploring and Freelancing have plans to utilize his interest fully to benefit him and our corp. But we also hope we can interest him in some hunting as well soon enough.
Sunflash is well new to this game and still very green in many ways. However Freelancing corp are willing to work with new people as long as they show some good character and and not think things will be given out without anything to show for.
In Freelancing corp you make your own fortune the corp expects no handouts and it expects the same from its members.

Edited by: Paul Lebaue on 06/10/2003 01:49:40 Greetings,
Freelancing corp is still in a lookout for players willing to have loyal and trustworthy friends. Skills or experience is no issue in this corp. As long as you have the qualities we look for in a player you are a welcome addition to this group.
I been playing this game since day 3 of its release and thus acquired the skills necessary to run and finance the corp which is Freelancing Corp. Freelancing Corp was created somewhere in July not really sure about the exact date. But it was intended for a one man corp (thus the ticker name PAUL I know some of that have seen this ticker name on our members might think that the CEO have a very bloated head. But believe when I tell you that was the first thing that came to mind when I created the corp and didn’t think much of it at that time) *smiles*, fed up with big Corps and wanted the freedom that only a freelancer could enjoy.
After 2 weeks of mining and hunting on my own. No one in the corp chat to talk to but myself I started thinking back to the friends I had in my previous corps. Although I was fed up with policies and limitations that the latest corp I had joined had I still acquired a few friends in it whom I trusted well type of friends I was now missing. I was making more isk now that I ever did or thought possible in my earlier days as a new pilot in Eve. I was able to purchase the Ships and items I needed and wanted. Even paying a higher price then the regular rate cause I wanted the item (not much has changed in this area I might add) *s*. But still I was missing something that made this game more enjoyable for me.
Around this time I met up with a harvester sales person (this was back then when they were still dropping in hundreds and thousands and cost as low as 30k per unit) I am not going to mention this persons name in here because of the fact that he is no longer part of Freelancing corp and he left on very bad terms with its current members at that time. More info on this matter will be told but actual details will be left out. This is because I consider this only to be a private matter between this individual and Freelancing corp.
Anyways back to the subject this person was willing to sell me the harvesters I wanted at the price I was willing to buy them for at that time. I also mentioned I was interested in Elites at that time and he said he is able to acquire them as well. I asked him how much he would want for the Elites and after a long after thought he said he would sell them for 40-50k per unit.. Totally surprised at this very low rate I had to give myself a few sec before I replied back to him. I had previously bought myself some Elites which I considered was the normal rate at that time. 500k per unit. I couldn’t take advantage of this guy so. O told him that I had bought my Elites for 500k previously and that I was looking for a little cheaper price then that. But that he should reconsider his offer of 50k per elite drone. he was grateful of my honesty and we started talking more about our current situations and goals.
During this chat he mentions he is the Director of a Corp were the other Directors and the CEO seems to have gone inactive. He was trying to organize the group that was left and that if the CEO or any of the other Directors would not return any time soon he would leave it and create his own corp. He was unable to do so at that time because he did not have the proper skills and funds required to create his own corp. After chatting with him I started admiring his goals and views more and could relate to the problems he was now facing. The ideals he had and the info I acquired of his current active members mixed together with me longing for friends and new goals made me make the offer of a joint partnership.
Thus that day Freelancing Corp ceased to be a one man corp. One day after the offer was made the One man corp grew from one member to a 6 member corp. The fact that the Gallente was outnumbered 5-1 and the others Caldari didn’t bother the only Gallente at that time one bit. He was just happy to get some new friends. No matter what race they were. Considering all of the new members of freelancing corp was still in their Frigates the first goal of the Corp was to acquire the funds to get everyone in Cruisers. At this time the person whom I made the offer to join forces with agreed on a shared CEO ruler ship of the corp. With me as the head figure and the financial rep and he responsible for organizing the crew with the ops we were planning on having. He was to be the official leader of the corp. While I was to be the guy in the background taking care of the financial stuff within the corp. Which I was happy with. Cause I never did consider myself to be a leader. And still don’t...

I already had the funds to buy the corp its second lv3 Cruiser and almost enough to buy a third one on the spot. The first Cruiser that was bought was a MOA which went to my Co CEO. The Second MOA was bought a day later. I told the crew that the first to acquire their skills for a lv3 cruiser would get the first Cruisers being purchased by the corp. Since I was the main supplier of isk at that time with my Thorax ship and 5 CU Vapors (I was the money machine in the corp at that time, some of my peeps might say I still am) *s* I had the most say in that matter. Everyone agreed to this and within 2 weeks everyone had their lv3 Cruisers. During this time we acquired yet another member whom were to be one of my most trusted friends in the world of Eve. He was already in his main Cruiser and thus didn’t need much from the corp. (Not that many peeps whom you can entrust close to 100mill worth of minerals to close a sale for you and expect the money for it after the trade has been done. I am proud to say I have at least 3 of those people within my group.) The others I still have to put the ultimate test to before I can make the same claim with. But needless to say they seem to have the same characteristics .
But back to the story. At this time there were some resentment growing within the corp. resentment for how the Co CEO was handling things. Funds was taken out of Corp Wallet. To help fund Bp's which the Corp was said to be needing. That was the reason given by the Co CEO. Funds taken was not fully replaced and we still are in a lookout for most of those BP's. Other actions was done which made this CEO suspicious and the other members either angered or untrusting as well. Someone who was once trusted and respected no longer possessed the qualities that had helped him earn that trust and respect in the first place. Needless to say after a continued abuse of trust, funds and hidden agendas and the continued warnings of fellow members this CEO had had enough and requested a resignation from the Co CEO with the support of the other members.
Thus Freelancing corp now only had one CEO. One whom didn’t see himself as a leader and considered himself incapable for the task. But thanks to the support of its current members whom gave their trust and support in him he continued on. Not wanting to disappoint or let his friends down.
There has been many times on this road I have considered splitting, merging looking for another CEO with better leader capabilities who would join the Corp and take over the leadership seat. One of them possible mergers happened pretty recently. With a group who’s CEO and main right man I consider as my closest friends outside the Corp. But by doing so I would have been letting down some of the current members. Fellow members but also trusted friends. So therefore I decided to continue on as the CEO of Freelancing corp. Still not sure about being the best person for that position but has learned to accept it. With the support of my friends there is nothing really I can do wrong. It gives very little room for any failures with friends that support you and back you up all the way. They have made my game enjoyable and playable at those times I was considered if it was all really worth it. We are a laid back group. Who are capable of making some serious isk. We are able to compete with any hardcore Mining corps out there and I am sure allot of corps can vouch my claim in that.
I hope by giving a small history of the corp and me you learn to know me and little bit more were I come from. Money is no issue with me. I can make as much as I want to by myself. (As long as Techell are buying minerals that is this should be no problem for me) *s* And since I take on the responsibilities of this corp I am the sole official provider of the financial needs of this corp when it comes to its run cost. Its members have donated funds to the Corp but it has been given freely and the corp has never asked to be given any. It does not require the heavy earned money of its members to run. As long as I am in this Corp it won’t.
Although I have managed to acquire this many trusted friends we are still in a lookout for more. Time is not an issue with us. We are patient in finding other players whom we can consider as trusted and loyal allies within this game. We just want to send the message out that there is a Corp consisting of loyal and trustworthy people with good work ethics and who are willing to do most anything as long as you show the same qualities.
Ok this is enough for now. I know this is to be a very long post but and would like to thank those that actually managed to read it all. And for those that didn’t I truly do understand. And to those that decides to make a comment on this may it be bad or good. Remember the choice to read this post or not was solely your own.
Sincerely

Greetings and salutations Citzens of EVE.
Paul has told his story to you in hoping to explain the development of Freelancing corp, and continueing with his idea. I will add my tale. Like many citzens of EVE my tale begins with life as a noob. Starting out in the big bad world in an ibis. Scary work, considering most of todays pirates could take you out in a volley. Mining veldspar and fighting 1k rats was getting old and getting me nowhere. I longed for the larger craft I had seen barreling through space. But at my current rate of production, it be several years before I even saw an upgraded frigate. however, Fate had a different twist in store for me, as I of all noobs was recruited. It was strange, I didn't see any difference in myself when compared to other noobs, but nonetheless I joined with visions of cruisers in my head. I soon learned the harsh reality of things as I toiled in the roid belts while my corp officers ran free spreading fear among the rats. Then it all stoppped. Only the one mining crew I had been assigned to was still on. It was as if our corp has disappeared, no warning, no indication just gone! Seeking out the truth we wandered the gakaxy jumping from system to system trying to find out what to do. Then we found it something rarer in the gakaxy if EVE than megacyte. Honesty. While on a everyday trading session composed of minerals, rat loot, and convoy supplies we happened an honest man.... Paul Lebaue.
After speaking about our lives in the land of EVE a desicion was made to leave our absent slave drivers and strike out on our own in a different type of corp a free corp. Thus was borning Freelancing corp. A place to persue your own personal choices, but not have to travel that path alone. A place where the ISK must flow, and the Corp chat is always a bit on the "VERY INTERESTING" side.
As a fledgling corp, we made our way to an outlying sector of space away from prying eyes and past dealings to start a new life. and We found such a place. Soon, the Freelancing flag flew high aboce a station, and our newly built HQ was bustling with new excitement and eager members. The asteroids trembled in fear at our coming. This was the begining of an era, The Great Build. Inch by inch unit by unit, we chipped away at the great fields of our home system, feeding the great refining machine that was Paul Lebaue. As the minerals refined, the ISK began to flow. Soon minerals flew from station to station as Probes, and Merlins, became Moas and Thoraxs. No member of freelancing corp was without cruiser. The minerals continued to flow even after the Great build, and the ISK still flowed. Paul saw that mining was not all of our passion, so he sent us out among the stars to find them. Soon rats and roids trembled at our name. It was at this time, He spoke with a young Nabiki, then known for her "escort services" to encourage to expand her business elsewhere. With her CEO behind her, she ventured into the dark world of the TRADE and began her journey into the Marketing Director, she is today.
While most members of Freelancing Corp were growing, a great darkness was also growing. It was watching waiting, and growing. Thankfully it wasn't long before this cancer was recognized for what it was, and removed.
Now is the golden age of freelancing corp, We grow stronger each day, and continue to explore our universe. It has been a long road, and I for one am glad I am on it with friends like the Freelancers...
 Sincerely,
Nabiki Saotome Marketing / Security Director |

Sounds like you guys should get in contact with our little unit, Freelancer Union (FUN). Our CEO is Dyor and seems like our groups run on very similar principles.
And the shameless personal plug, if you want to support the Freelancer cause come and buy your ships from Damper my alt brother who makes the good indies and a good range of frigates (including all the Gallente versions) in Stetille. Personal contact will always get you a discount on market price in the region. The first Vexor should be rolling out in the next day or so too. Georg or Damper can help you out in game.

Greetings Georg,
I thank you for your kind offer and I will send a greeting to your CEO in hopes of a friendly relation between our two groups.
As for your generous offer of ships I feel I must say that Freelancing Corp owns every Frigate ships there is of every race. Including a few haulers and Cruisers and we are looking into adding more of the one's we are still missing. However this does not necessarly mean we will not purchase a ship from you. Considering we have gotten a few new members whos skills are not yet honed enough to pilot a Battleship. We might be interested in purchasing ships from you. If we for some reason dont want to produce the ship on our own. As it stands now we are very selfsufficant when it comes to ships or any other equipments for that matter.

Greetings all,
The untimely death of fellow Freelancing Corp member Kasumi Saotome, on 2003.10.08, is a source of sorrow to me and her many friends in the corporation. Please accept our deepest sympathies in your bereavement. Kasumi Saotome was being reanimated at the cloning facility at the time when the fatal accident occurred.
Kasumi Saotome was a fine person and was admired by her fellow corporation members. CONCORD has no record of Kasumi Saotome, she was probably not seen as a threat to the rest of us. We will all miss her. I realize that words can do little to console you at a time like this, but I want you to know that we share your sorrow.
