Greetings all,
Considering how many outsider pilots still are uncertain about what being a Freelancing Corp member really means, what we are all about and what we do in game I wish to add some more info about us and what type of players I think would enjoy being part of our group (Corp). In hopes that this will give a clearer picture to those that are interested but still unsure about our group.
Being part of this group means you are able to spend your in game time they way you want and how you want as long as its not pirating or thievery since Freelancing Corp condones this type of business. This has enabled us to recruit former solo players or small groups who were hesitant to join corps for the sole reason of loosing their Freedom and in some harsh occasions their individuality. We have also gained players whom before belonged to other Corporations but who felt they no longer had the time, endurance and drive to be part of a goal oriented corp and pressure that usually involve being a member of such a corp. We understand that some peoples in game times are limited and so when they are able to spend some time in game they should have the opportunity to use their time to do what they want to do. Now this does not by any means say that we lack goals and such like most other corps. Thanks to our active and I must say very resourceful and ingenuities of our members (just a few of their many good qualities I must add ) we are able to host some rather nice and interesting games and projects for our members. Everyone is invited to join but is free to decline should they not want to be part of it. Although it’s a rare occasion that ever happens that some players will have no part of any of the games or projects being hosted. Most common thing heard is why it was done while they were gone . Although some games are an ongoing thing and so are most projects so the chances of actually missing all of them is rather limited.
One other thing that has attracted players to is and this is basically thanks to the earlier one's that did join us, is the in game presence at all times. Its rather rare to find yourself alone in the corp. This usually only happens right after Downtime, and that usually don’t last long. Since we are so spread out geographically and the differences in schedules we are able to cover different times in game.
Also age and gender of our players in game is very versatile. I have to say this does create some rather nice ideas, discussions and idle chats within the corp. Considering our age differences ranges all from 16 to 40+ and the fact that we do have a number of female players does help create some rather interesting and sometimes "spicy" chats (more power to the ladies of Freelancing Corp I have to say. Although outnumbered they are more then capable of holding their own and even lash back and win the day. ) As for the age differences we do base maturity on your behavior and the way you conduct yourself in game although the presence of some ladies does bring out the immature part of their male counterparts. But since this is a known failure in most men this CEO has no choice bit to accept this as long as no one is left insulted or worse.
So to summarize this all: - Your time is your own. You use it the way you want to use it as long as its not involve pirating or thieving. - Although there is no demands on its members to take part on any projects hosted by the corp does this mean the Corp itself lacks Goals and views of the future. - 24/7 Presence in game you need not fear of being alone in corp chat. - Maturity is based on your conduct and behavior in game not by your actual age.

Greetings all,
I would like to welcome Manny to Freelancing Corp. Manny just recently got his pilot wings and is eager to explore the vast realms of Eve and do this together with us in Freelancing Corp. His eagerness to learn is a refreshing and a nice reminder for us old timers of how we felt when we to explored the realms of Eve for the first time. May Manny enjoy his time as a Pilot in Eve and as a new member of Freelancing Corp.

Welcome, Manny, to our own personal country club. Try the swim-up bar, I hear they make some interesting drinks.
As for your encouraging and informative speech, boss... I couldn't have said it better myself. Well, maybe, but I'll let that lie.

Bigby *smiles warmly* Yes Freelancing Corp has been fortunent enough to recieve this new members on continuing bases. And I guess considering the few that do join us I think you be suprised in how many Freelancers are still out there either Solo or within a Corp of other Freelancers. Just earlier this week we had another Freelancer Corp add their strength to ours. I'll introduce them all later after they manage to settle in with us.
And I know of several other Freelancer Corps out there, some we have been fortunent enough to be on friendly basis with and others a nice freindly greeting as we pass each other during our travels trough the systems.
I think most Veterans that have tried out the more structured Corps do go back to become Freelancers after awhile. After all doing what you like to do within your own time is the trademark of a Freelancer which is pretty much what alot of pilots prefer. But even Freelancers like some company during their travels and while working to earn their way in this side of the Galaxy we call Eve. And that is were a Corp such as Freelancing Corp come in.
Within Freelancing Corp you get to do what you want to do when you want to. Projects and events are orginized by volunters within the corp. And some choose to band together during this special events/projects to achieve a common goal. Everyone will be given a chanse to join and take part but are free to decline it without having to feel bad about it. Some choose to continue their work as Solo pilots but continues to stay social in the corp chats. Due to our amount of members we are able to cover most aspects of this game and continue to enjoy a constant 24/7 presence. You can feel safe in that you wont find yourself alone in the corp chat for a long period of time. And there will always be someone that is an expert in a certain aspect of this game whom you can ask any questions you might have.
Freelancing Corp is blessed in that it has aquired a large amount of members whom are likeminded which makes this Corp one of the more social oriented, friendly and laid back corps out there.
Only aspects which is not in any way endorsed or practiced by any of our members are Piracy, Thievery and Begging.
Well there we have another long post. This happens when I am unable to pilot my ship and are to addicted to Eve to concentrate on anything else.

Greatings Paul.
I am very interested in joining your corp. I will be sending you an eve-mail and filling out an application at one of your offices soon. Let me tell you about myself (I'll try to be brief).
Soon after I graduated in Duripant, I joined RonaCorp 2 days later (when it was still a 30 person corp). Even from those early days I was a true freelancer at heart. Often going off by myself and mining on my own. Many times I would fall asleep in my hauler while my lone miner I would be eating on the roid. Like you, Paul, I would get lonely at times. I departed Rona a week ago and joined the corp that I am with now.
I now pilot a Megathron, a thorax, a vexor, a triston, and the hauler. Hope to here from you soon.
