Make a new kind of pod goo that has a nutrient that accelerate facial hair growth, then make the facial hair options dependent on how much time the capsuleer has spent in a pod. That way you can tell the older and more experienced characters apart from the younger characters at a simple glance rather than having to scroll through miles of employment history.
