Hello guys and girls, I've recently come back to eve online and want to do PvE missions. PvP isn't my thing but will defend myself if i have to. Now my skills are all over place to what i can and can't do, I've spent the last 2 weeks mining and now getting bored of it and wanted help to select a ship that will be good for missions in 0.6 to 0.4 sec space.
Now i can use a wide range of Gallente ships but have come to relize that bigger isn't always better in eveonline, ISK really isn't and issue for me. Please some help would be nice\

It depends on what your standing is for say Fed Navy.
If you can do Lvl 4's for a corp or across the Gallente space, you can use a battleship like a megathron, domi or Hyperion.
Failing that you can use an Ishtar and speed tank through the missions as long as your cap stable.
If you need to work your way up through the mission levels use the following:
Lvl 1: Frigate or Destroyer
Lvl 2: As above
Lvl 3: Cruiser or Battlecruiser
Lvl 4: T2 Cruiser, Strategic Cruiser, (Tengu is best), Battleship.
Lvl 5 missions are in lowsec, and doing those is up to you.

Doing missions in 0.4 hisec border zones in a PvE boat is perhaps the fastest way in this game to get yourself killed. |

op u do realise that 0.4 space in low sec? u say that pvp is not ur thing so maybe u should stay 0.5 and up?
if you do want to go to 0.4 space then fit ur ship for pvp to do the mission. |

For hi sec lvl 4 missions it is hard to beat a domi
for lvl 1 missions rail cat
lvl 2 thorax
lvl 3 Myrmadon
with hi skill
then you may want to look at a vindicator
lvl 5 may want a Kronos or Thanatos if you have your fighter skills high. But in low sec expect pvp

one efted fit which i would use stat wise, it isnt perfect as drones and guns work at around 70km so mjd might get u out of range so.
