Chucked together my first Capital ship vs Capital ship kill.
It was res0nance (vagabond) and myself (moros) vs an Archon and Pilgrim, while the Archon was doing some low sec missions.

Yeah... lost my Vaga in the fight, but it was worth it.
Both the Pilgrim and the Archon were killed; killmails here for interest.

Actually the Carrier gave up shooting me with fighters and instead popped out tech2 medium drones, which coupled with no cap & a bunch of tech2 light drones from the pilgrim = dead ;/
You'll also notice in the movie that Theo starts missing and the Carrier reps at one point - the damn pilgrim was tracking disrupting him to 'nam

Did your epeen get hurt? I just stated that it is hardly 2v2 that you guys seem to try make it sound like. It's 2v2+lot of npces that are firing at him. On top of that you have the advantage when you are jumping on someone middle of mission when you are fitted and prepared for pvp. Give SP, ship and equipment and anyone could do that in such situation.

I never said it was a clean 2vs2, i was just informing you of what the player ships involved were. I even stated the carrier was doing low-sec missions.
The third gang member was only involved in deploying my cyno.

That carrier lost around a bill, 250 mill for his insurance, 150mill between market price and insurance cost on his carrier, and not to mention he lost and dropped Core X-type hardners, which covered our loss easily.
Not to mention they lost a pilgrim as well.

Ramah (the carrier pilot) was running both his account and the account of Morkula (the Pilgrim pilot.) Not the first time we/he has been engaged by other capital ships, lost a Apoc to 2 carriers and 2 BS from IRON when they engaged us inside the fort there, Audesder is the place to be if you want to see some capital ships fighting, outside of 0.0 at least:)

You dont know how many npc ships there was before you. With these setting you just show how newbie you are for losing vagabond and using that you lose cap as excuse just show how much you suck with vagabond.
All I was saying that with these setting its like default win. Look Moros stats and compare it to Archon add to that guy was middle of mission probably not very prepared for pvp. The fact that Moros got low on cap and Archon was tanking both moros and npc ships for so long show how much you suck.
Anyways I dont like newbies or idiots and you are both.

We didn't post this thread saying that we're so awesome for beating a Carrier with a Dread, so please, pointless argument.
The carrier tanked for so long because the Dreadnought was getting tracking disrupted, I hardly see how that means that we suck.

When i`m fitting stabs - i`m preparing to SURVIVE. And when i`m alive - i`ll deal much more damage to enemy.

Who said we were low sec pirates? I only have a sec status of -2.2, and res -1.4.
We do most of our PvP through 0.0 (without stabs ... woah!)
You like to call us hauler gankers ... but the video I just posted involved a carrier kill ...
I would rather people think of me as an hourable PvPer as opposed to one who fits stabs.
In my eyes, stabs are for the 0.0 unworthy.

Great job to the winning side for setting up the fight, frapsing it, and just blowing something really big up.
To those alts, and those that think they were crappy: Go ahead and go get yourself a carrier and a pilgrim, and rat in the same system while these 2 are here if you want to prove they suck.

Grats on the kill.
I can see where ppl have an issue with this kill tho.
A sieging Moros against a stationary carrier really has only one outcome.
Props to the carrier pilot for tanking all that as long as he did. (4 navy megathrons?, and a moros in siege + drones )
Props to the Vaga pilot for sticking around under less than favorable conditions.
Note to self: Buy a Archon BPO soon.. I've seen MANY of these go boom lately. |
