I've seen lists of agents, and where they are located and complexes etc. However I havent seen any list of missions they give out. They give out the same missions every time so?
Meh Idea

Having gone through the trouble of documenting the COSMOS missions I have done why would I share it with the community at large? It is valuable research and the community prefers standing on the shoulders of others without even a thank you in 95% of all instances. So I guess it is worth repeating, why would I help you and you and you when I don't know any of you at all? PS: Yes, I mean it but I'm also quite sure that this is the thinking that covers this.

System: Traun Beacon: Thin Red Line Agent: Krak Hakkers (L3 Republic Fleet) Mission 1 of 3 - " Ghost War - Shadows" Bring to Agent 8 Hacker ID's. Hacker ID's are item drops from Maru Hackers. Best places to find these rats are [censored], [censored], and [censored]. Time consuming and a pain.Reward: 600,000 isk Bonus: 200,000 isk Corp Standing Gain: +1.25 (Approx) Mission 2 of 3 - " Ghost War - Mist" Mission 3 of 3 - " Ghost War - Gloom" I doubt I will feel as stupid as you should sir. The OP asked for mission details not the list of the agents and their location. Reading comprehension for the win. Furthermore I would point out that the lists that everyone likes to go by are incomplete and contain inaccuracies. But then I'd feel stupid if I didn't point that out as well. What I would like is just a list of which need special hacker skills and whatnot, so I can avoid them untill I have the skills to do them later. As for mission details, that's not so important.

Eve mail me ingame or use the link on my sig. I can easily tell you which agents are hacking/archeaology only. For the Minmatar area only though.

If you really want to know why people help eachother, I think its because some people feel good about giving back to the community. Everybody is a rookie to begin with, and without helpful resources and links from others, the learning process takes twice as long. People rarely have something to gain by refusing to help others.
Im not sure helping someone for personal gain is really help at all...

Did my time of giving to this community at large. For a couple of years actually. And I didn't say no to specific individuals. Just no to the freeloaders of the community.

Can you get online like now-ish, Shar? I need help, or advice, on a mission that expires in 6 hours ________________________________________________

One of the great things about COSMOS is the challenge and the teamwork it engenders. Get stuck in and if you run into trouble ask some guys in local to help you out, you meet new people, make new friends and have more fun.
Getting a list, guide and how too of COSMOS would really ruin it.
When you find a mission that requires Archaeology simply, ask someone with the skill to help, hire someone, beg the item off someone nice or buy the item from the market of someone horrible.

No I don't. There's been anything from 12 to 30 people in Nakugard whenever I've asked for some information, and in three weeks, I've yet to get a single reply from anybody. ________________________________________________

I've not been in Nak for a few weeks I'll admit. But how I meet Padaxes, who is in my corp btw, is becuase he asked for help in local and I said, "Sure." However I only help on individual basis becuase I prefer to do it that way.
More fun, more rewarding, for me.
And I think it is a good policy as if I used what resources I had to update my website with all the documentation I've done no one would have any reason to talk to an old has been like me. They'd just go into Ani, farm what they can farm, and zip past this old dinosaur.

Yes, to be fair, it has worked some of the time. But this particular mission had me tearing my hair out, cos the expiration is in about four hours, and nobody's been helping.
I just, finally, picked up the item I needed after looking for four days. ________________________________________________

Nakugard has a lot of roid brlts and an ice field. If you wanna find some hive mind controlled ships, you'regonna find somce specimen there.
I still have two broken Cosmos mission lines because someone found it funny to drop half finished stuff onto Tranquility. Sucks that I've been there a month after the cosmos constellations and missions appeared.
But hey, seems someone dropped the mallet on Gallente rookies with a 900.000Isk collateral in the third mission. --*=*=*-- Megadon CCP wanted a well known artist and celebrity to test the new font so it's approval would be well known. They got Ray |

Egads... where did this happen as well?
PS: You know this thread would probably be better over in the Missions forum.

Just so ya know, I am the one who originally made that list of agents ( RnD Guy's ) and released it. I am no longer RnD Guy but I was at the time I made that...
Get the **** off your high horse, does it make sense to do "research" yet keep it to yourself? Thats like saying "I've mapped the entire Amazon..." and then thinking "screw those bastards who want to use my map, they are selfish and just want to stand on the backs of others!"
And when you are driving somewhere do you usually stop to take the time and read the credits on the Atlas you are using to thank each and every contributor?
Seriously, take a couple pills... legally if possible. Oh, and only reason I'm asking is so I dont have to go and do it if someone has already done it.
Edit: and sry if I sound hostile, but before you flame me for it read your post for possible hostilities. Why post if just to state that you have something but arent going to share it with the community, and flame the community for sharing what is shared.
Meh Idea

I post becuase I can; I'm glad I didn't help you becuase I remember RND Guy's ingame activities; You are not sorry for sounding hostile and I don't want you to be; And if you think what has been said in this thread, politefully, is a flame you demonstrate the need for much thicker skin. But then the forums have become a place for odd bits of political speaking ghestopism and feel free to curse others out. So I guess claiming "flame" where there is none is the social equivalent of crying for mommy to stop someone from saying things you don't like.

Anyway, you might need to learn what a constructive post consists of before you talk about how others post.
Ps. If you would read I didnt say you flamed, I made that edit to try to prevent a flame in response. And ya I'm not sorry for sounding hostile because what my annoyance with you boils down to is the fact that you post with the purpose to pretty much tell everyone that you have information that people would like, but cannot have. Why bother posting it? Its nothing more than flamebait.

RND Guy was a failed pirate and a successful corp thief. You claim his name, you claim his infamy. Just becuase it's been a year or so doesn't change what you did nor does it mean people have forgotten. 'Nuff said. Done here.
