What is the best possible implant setup for a freighter pilot for warp speed. Thanks |

Or you can use full MG Nomad set if you don't use webbers to move faster. Plus, you may want throw Elfyr&Co. 'Rogue' Evasive Maneuvering 70x It looks like this: Fenrir (All V) Allign: 36s->26.3->26 (With EM 706) Warp speed 1.37->2.22. While improvement in warp speed looks significant, it's not that cool. Your speeding up sequence won't accelerate too much from it while stopping sequence is pure agility. |

Increasing your overall warp speed by any available means, improves both your warp acceleration & deceleration times, with bigger effect on acceleration. Deceleration has nothing to do with agility.
Warp speed is just too important, even in small packages, like your Freighter. If your primary concern is travel time, warp speed will almost always be better than alignment so use a set of HG Ascendancies for slots 1-5 and the 15% Warp Drive Speed Hardwiring for slot 6. For slot 7, as already suggested, use the 5% Evasive Maneuvering hardwiring. No need to go for the respective higher bonused Hardwirings as they still are too expensive, same for the HG Omega Ascendancy, extremely expensive.
When the Low Slot Hyperspatial Accelerator modules become easily obtainable you can further improve your warp speed which will improve your acceleration & deceleration times even more. Always a valid option to mix with meta4 istabs to improve your alignment, if it becomes important for you. Warp speed is just too important now. The new looks of the Typhoon hulls are-áamazing!! They changed the Ascendencies so 1-6 including Omega is now better than 1-5 and the 15% |

The HG Ascendancy Omega (HGAO) costs around 1.6B while the 15% Warp Hardwiring costs 160M. In a Freighter the difference is something like 0.1 AU/s more warp speed with HGAO. In an Interceptor with warp rigs this difference raises to 1 AU/s more warp speed with HGAO. But interceptors at that point have so high warp speed that gaining 1 AU/s more wouldn't make much of significant difference. Given the above facts, choosing the 15% Warp Hardwiring over the HGAO for Slot-6, is one of the easiest decisions I had to make, wouldn't you agree?

According to this, the deccleration speed is capped
Quote:Finally, we are also putting a cap on the deceleration speed that can be obtained for now. This cap is currently set to 2au/s (the declaration speed that a 6au/s warper hits by default, and twice the current hardcoded deceleration speed). This means that as ships start to travel faster than 6au/s they will start to hit diminishing returns.
However, in the case of freighters, which to my knowledge, a freighter's decelleration speed will never reach the 2 au/s cap because there aren't enough mods and implants to boost their base warp speed to 6+ au/s.
