The lag is because of extreme bandwith usage when everyone thats logging on has his cache invalidated and has to recache all item information. This mean that during logon, each client has to download somewhere between 1-3mb. This also causes issues with network traffic on the internal network of the cluster and thus, slows down the website aswell. ------ Valar Database admin - Server operations team CCP Games How to write a good bugreport |

If you have discovered a bug or something similar that is possible to exploit, please don't post about it here, and take note that using exploits is against the EULA.

Ok to reply to some of those issues.
Interdictor sphere launcher Well they aren't working. There was a minor bug with the interdictor sphere launcher. In an effort to fix that we needed to change both some database stats and some code. This kind of worked or at least didn't broke anything. The problem on TQ is that the database changes went in but not the code changes. We're aware of the problem and its getting fixed asap and is already working on SiSi.
Descriptions Not as severe bug as the interdictor one but a bit annoying. What happened was that the description on Wolf, Hawk, Thanatos and the damage control systems were wrong. So these descriptions were updated at later time which seems to have caused all "linefeeds" to be removed from the descriptions.
ECM icons Well as far as I can tell all the ecm - multispectral types have changed their graphical icons. I can't tell you why this was done but I can tell you that this will be reverted.
Other issues I'm not really involved much in so I can't really give you feedback on those. _______________ |

Tuxford, may I suggest that CCP add tags or colours to racial ECM icons so that we don't have to mouse over the module to see what type it is on the battlefield? For instance, a green crosshair for Gallente, blue for Caldari, red for Minmatar, Yellow for Amarr, or something like that. I will file a official feature suggestion but if this could be done it'd make things worlds easier.
In my opinion that is an excellent idea _______________ |

Interdictor probe worked for me on TQ just now so I guess we can strike that one out as fixed. _______________ |
