Goal: convenient farm mission and complex.
The ultimate goal is Ishtar, with this clear. The question is, on what to fly before? What better learning order. Need advise please.
First choice: Ishkur - drones and most part of fit T2. or Vexor (Navy) - drones and most part of fit T1.
Second choice: Ishtar - drones T1. or Vexor (Navy) - drones T2. |

Ishkur is a Assault Frigate and the Vexor is a cruiser. I would prefer a cruiser and the Vexor Navy Issue is good enough for level 3s and below. |

Vexor navy is perfect lead-in to ishtar. Sometimes it can do everything an ishtar does. |

I had the same goal when I started really focusing - I ended up getting into a Level 4 Solo-able Domi first, to provide isk and such. Then focused on drone skills getting T2 Sentries. Then back to Cruiser V and HAC to fly the Ishtar.
You can go in any order, of course, but it takes a while to get to T2 Drones and Cruiser V. What do you want to be flying and doing during that time is the real question. |

Where are these missions and complexes? If you're in low sec, the fast align time of the ishkur will keep you relatively safe while you skill up. On the other hand the vexor and vexor navy issue are very similar ships to the ishtar, and the vexor requires lower skills to start flying than the ishkur does. I'd move straight into a vexor, and stay in it while skill-ing up. Once you have cruiser 4, a t2 armor tank, and decent drone skills (read as drone interfacing 4, t2 lights and mediums, and access to sentries/heavies) you can move into a vexor navy issue. Later you can get into an ishtar when you've have some more core skills.
If you are exclusively in high sec, I recommend vexor > Myrmidon > dominix instead with similar caveats about skill training. The disadvantage of this is that battleships aren't all that useful in low sec or w-space if you move to those areas, and cruiser 5 will greatly benefit you there. Once you are used to both, the VNI feels like an Ishtar with crippled electronics (low targetting range, bad capacitor*).
I suggest the following:
Lowsec route: Algos -> Ishkur -> Ishtar AND Vexor. Use the Ishtar when systems are clear and the Vexor when you have seen combat scanner probes on long D-scan. (Or, if you can absorb an Ishtar loss, PVP fit your Ishtar but with an active tank, and kill people that come for you)
Highsec route: Algos -> Vexor -> Vexor Navy Issue -> (skip Myrmidon) - > Dominix -> Ishtar.
Don't feel you need to perfect your skills in each level before 'moving up', but do work on your core skills, as larger ships and tech 2 ships have innately tighter fitting and worse capacitor than tech 1 frigates. Nothing worse than buying a Dominix and being unable to fit a tech 2 tank, and finding your tech 1 tank is eating all your capacitor to run.
* - this is due to the active tank on an Ishtar costing less cap to run, due to tech 2 resists. https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=346564 - a proposal to overhaul the Logistics skill https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=238931 - an idea for a new form of hybrid PVE/PVP content. www.minerbumping.com - ganking miners and causing chaos |

A controversial but surprisingly viable alternative to the myrm is cross train for 2 weeks and get Amarr BC levels and fly a Prophecy. |

Mission run quite understandable. More unclear how things going in complexes.
Thanks for useful information.

'Farm' in EVE means 'repeat easy content while amassing resources and trying to avoid other players entirely'.
The community here does not generally like people like that, as due to the highly competitive nature of EVE, the market effects of widespread 'farming' affect all of us.
Plus, this game's PVE is boring when other players aren't involved.
Going to suggest something to you. Can you afford to lose a fully fitted Algos and any implants in your head? If so, jump into an Algos, and head into lowsec and use your scanner interface to find 'combat anomolies', which are somewhat like missions, but more competitive (it's easier for other players to find you) and their loot can be better.
Go and experiment with a few, while continuing to train skills for the Ishtar. If you find another player - try to kill them. If they beat you, ask us for help in working out what you can learn from the loss. https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=346564 - a proposal to overhaul the Logistics skill https://forums.eveonline.com/default.aspx?g=posts&t=238931 - an idea for a new form of hybrid PVE/PVP content. www.minerbumping.com - ganking miners and causing chaos |

OP; learn the way of the Sentry, they're fantastic for pve (and some forms of pvp as well).
Get the Algos first, don't bother with an ishkur unless you want to be in low sec. For high sec I'd almost completely skip the Vexor and go straight to the Myrmidon for low SP effectiveness. For exploration then start focussing on the Ishtar or aim for a Dominix if you want to grind missions. |
