I think it would be a nice idea to create a commercial, tech and production partnership with some small corps and maybe freelancers as members.
I am member of a small corp and have no other way to make big business: bp copying, tech2, player owned stations...

There have been some cases in which a corp director got all the money and stuff from his corp and passed it to an other account. So creating a corp is not a solution to avoid any partner to take the money and run.
Either creating a corp, either creating a commercial alliance of minicorps and freelancers, it will be the same.
What is then the advantage of working as a group of minicorps and freelancers opposed to a big corp? In my opinion it is the fact that each partner, minicorp or freelancer, can continue doing the same it did. Their assets, their activities, their secret places, all them are only for themselves. When you are in a big corp, you have to work according to the orders you receive or, at least, according to the targets and goals of the corp. This is not the case.
The commercial, tech and production alliance is only a way to invest as a group some assets(money) in a way that is no available for minicorps or freelancers. 10 people with 200 millions each one cannot buy a Battleship original BP, but the same 10 people with 1000 Millions as a group can do it.
Of course, it is a risk, you have to trust other partners. But this is how this game works. Even in a corp you have to trust all members who have access to the corp accounts and assets.
I personally prefer to take that risk, than continuing as a bored miner that never will be able to take part in a big, lucrative business.

Stealing, you say... What is stealing for you? For me is when a group of monopoly-lovers claim part of the former PUBLIC EVE universe and decide that no other people can go there.
As far as I know, I don't need to join Roman to be in your kos list.I only have to go to stain and mine 0.01m3 of veldspar to go into that list.

Maud, the purpose of this post wasn't that. This is not a recruitment post. We are looking for small corps or freelancers to cooperate in big business, as I explained before. There are other forums more suitable for what you are trying to do.

You are right: There is only one way in which you can be sure that no one will steal your stuff: play as a freelancer. You say you are playing in a messy corp: you then trust the fellows in that corp, don't you?
If you want to get big profits, you have to make big business, and this implies to take bigger risks, of course. I personally don't know Roman, but I am ready to take this risk. What is the alternative? to keep playing as a carebear forever?
I'd like to buy or build a estation, to drive a Titan, to produce tech2, tech3...
If I trust Roman, and other people who could be interested in this project, I have an opportunity to get all that. Perhaps one of the members of the club will steal part of the common assets, who knows, but there is also the possibility that nobody does that and the project works.
What is really sure is that if I keep as freelancer, solo player or minicorp never will achieve any of these targets.
