The Curse Coalition is proud to announce a non-aggression standing has been set towards the whole of the "Star Fraction" alliance.
It may come as a shock to many that two groups of such diametrically opposed creeds could find common ground and unite. The wise words of Illuminary Khun and the representatives of the Angel Cartel have shown us the path to greater purpose within the region of Curse. That path lies in a united Curse with common goals. Both CC and our respected counter parts in the -SF- agree the past shouldn't stand in the way of progress and the future.
Talks leading up to this ground breaking event centered on improving the region both politically and economically. Also discussed was the dastardly Huzzah attempt to assassinate Illuminary Khun following the summit meeting. This has not been forgotten by CC or -SF- in any measure.
Together we look to the future.

May we live in interesting times. I am glad to see two different sides finding a common ground that will lead to a mutually beneficient cooperation. I hope to see the Curse market booming with business in the near future.
"See you in space", has gotten a whole different meaning _

Interesting development.
What is the position in Curse at the moment with regards to neutrals and those whom once lived in Curse like myself?
So in war, the way is to avoid what is strong and to strike at what is weak. |

Pretty much everyone but the Star Fraction will attempt to kill neutrals. -----

So the Star Fraction made sure they keep access to a hostile region of space in exchange for? I would take a guess and say.. Cooperation with CC when in Curse? Defend CC vessels within Curse? Aid CC aggressiveness against other vessels in the area?
Or this is just CC that doesn't want to lose any vessels to the Fraction that has no interest in the region other then to pass through it at times.
I seriously doubt that suddenly Curse will be a utopian area....

In exchange for? Indeed, m'dear... you apparently have no clue what we do, what we are about. Jericho Fraction (and SF by default) has never, will never, and shan't ever pay for access to anything.
As always, we will not shoot those who are neutral to us. How hard is that crasp in that wired brain of yours.
So, to answer your questions:
Cooperation with CC when in Curse? Yes indeed. Though most likely in a different way than you think.
Defend CC vessels within Curse? Not unless those ships attacking are mutual enemies.
Aid CC aggressiveness against other vessels in the area? See above.
I cannot comment on CC policy of course.
As for
Quote: I seriously doubt that suddenly Curse will be a utopian area....
You are right, then again we know this and don't claim that the area is now declared a FreeSpaceZone. It is a first step. _

My 'wired brain' understands your stance on neutrals quite well, it's admireable. I just see this from an entire different perspective then you.
Making a deal, a non-aggression pact, is a transaction. It requires payment and agreement on both sides. You, the Star Fraction, pay Curse Coalition in services you would not render to them otherwise.
Without this non-agression pact they will fire at you, and you would have to return fire. It's a cheap way for CC to prevent any ship losses and claim your help when your travelling in Curse. Nothing else.
Congratulations on your pact.

Edited by: Chai N''Dorr on 21/06/2006 14:48:25 If you want to look at it in that way. You are right. But we both gained from this 'transaction'.
And you want to know the funny part? Talk to us and if we can find some mutual ground you will notice that these sort of deals are open to most people who don't want to force their ways upon us.
It's a win-win situation. So I really don't understand what point you are trying to make. Or could it be that a lot of those in CC are dedicated in the Angel's War against a certain other faction?
Edit: Claim our help? We don't take too kindly in claims laid upon us. And as stated before, help towards CC shooting people will only be against mutual enemies. _

As the Jericho Fraction representative who initiated the talks with Curse Coalition and played the main role in this proposed agreement for the cessation of hostilities between our organizations, I must commend Bach and Raid specifically for their candor and willingness to participate in elevated dialogue rather than us trying to "one-up" each other and declaring one side a 'winner' and the other, by default the 'loser'.
Jericho Fraction and the Star Fraction alliance have a vested interest in the Curse region as we do in any region we operate within. We also have lofty goals and core values that we will not compromise. This was accepted in by the CC representatives in true diplomatic fashion and speaks to their organization's over-arching goal of supporting the Angel Cartel's actions while still acting for the benefit of their members.
Conspiracies regarding who-paid-whom-and-for-what are childish, unevolved drivel.

Originally by: Jericho Fraction vision The implications of this reality are immense; for what use government bureaucracy and mercantile oligarchs to a culture free of fiscal chains and mimetic toil? Even more pressing of course is the matter of 0.0 (frontier) territorial alliances and claims currently outstanding. We believe these are foolish attempts to claim the unclaimable to restrict the freedoms of our emergent star-faring culture, and we do not support the tyrannies and rhetoric conjured to support these dark aspirations.
In time we hope to inspire change; either by political dialogue, practical engagement, or by direct armed resistance against these protectionist miniature empires.
Is this 'political dialogue' or 'practical engagement' then?
Now recruiting!

Both. Your point?
I wouldn't bother to try and understand it, Legatus, we're both outlaw organisations arranging outlaw business in an outlaw region.

Any pact or alliance entered into with Jericho Fraction should be taken with a grain of salt...
JF is a reveloutionary organization that could barely control itself when some of the northern alliances broke up. Not sure if this was due to them being forced out of the area, or in true pursuit of their stated objectives(see their website). All the same, they proudly claimed credit for the dissolution of a few corps and alliances, directly or indirectly.
Following the dictums of Marx and Mao (right down to calling other Corp Pilots "pig-dogs"), any means necessary to bring down an organization is and should be used, even if from inside the organization itself.
And yes, this is an alt Spent some time in JF

One thing we did not endeavor to do was to dismantle or sabotage any group that agreed to standings with us, friendly Alt.
We can disagree with politics and ROE and overarching themes, but if entities agree to terms with us, we do not backstab them.
Spirited debate is encouraged.
