Well, i announced the evegamers CS:S server not too long ago in oop, and law and behold my post was being spammed by devs! this got me thinking.... lets throw down the gauntlet.
i have been speaking to a "certain someone" who has agreed this will be a lot of fun and will pitch this post to fellow devs, should they get a team. the players will also need one.
so, do you think you have what it takes? if you wish to apply, send me and eve-mail and/or post here. everyone will be considered.
This event, should everything go according to plan, will be in no less than two weeks to allow myself and the devs to arrange everything that needs to be arranged. i will also be looking for someone with a shoutcast server to do some commentary.
so then.... who wants some?

as for whoever wanted to headshot Tux.... you have no idea how many mails ive had and people generally being willing to PAY me to get to headshot tux. we dont even know if he even plays CS:S yet.... but if he reads this he'd probably buy it just to make some cash standing there and charging admission to the server.
lets remember that this is not confirmed yet, although the idea is being pitched to the devs, and i know at least 3 who play cs:s.. they still have to be able to field a team and then not be too busy at one point. with all the recent broken CONCORD petitions i wouldnt imagine this would happen in less than a fortnight at the least.

right, time for a bit of an update.
Im going on holiday on sunday, to Greece. (laganas, Zante to be exact) for one week. naturally i wont be here for the following week so ill not be able to post or respond to any questions here till im back. Levin should be able to answer anything people ask in the meantime.
by all means, keep signing up for the team, and once i get back ill consider my screening people to make the final squad.
let it be known that im still looking for someone with a shoutcast server to possible do some commentary. if anyone feels that they can help in some way just post here, or better yet send me and eve-mail so im sure to read it when i get back. or if you feel more comfortable using regular e-mail, get me here

just a little reminder, not all of you will be able to play, in what will probably end up being a 5 man team. i will have to gather you all together at some point and start screening you.you will need IRC at the time and you will need to be in #eve-gamers on irc.coldfront.net.

as for being "notified". there has been a post in Out of Pod for months, it has also been mentioned about twice earlier in this thread. but again for those who missed it
