Learn propper sentence structure for the other language then use google translate. It works so well ive infiltrated corps when i have no clue what they are saying.

Honestly Google translate works fine for this. Even for diplomat work it seems to do ok. Its far from perfect but Its better then hiring a translator. |

When I'm sitting in NPC chat with 700 others, and EVERYONE is speaking English, getting one person to start yappin in russian is simply ignorant. That person clearly has no interest in conversing with the group and wants to fill up a fast scrolling chat with gibberish. Take it to the appropriate channel...

I usually respond to the Russians in chat by switching to Japanese. They are usually pretty good humored at that point and switch to English.
Except sometimes they switch to Japanese too, at which point I am screwed because my kanji knowledge is pretty much at survival level.
Basically, I feel ignorant for not learning Russian these days. |

Every time someone speaks Russian to me they use abbreviations and slang that doesn't translate well (or really, at all). So I'm left wondering what it might have been that they said.
