The MyEVE pages were taken down for a short time this evening due to an emergency maintenance procedure. Over the past few days, the servers have been at 100% load. The maintenance downtime introduced some changes that balanced the load and has reduced it to more tolerable (20-40%) levels.
We apologize for any inconveniences this may have caused.
The Web team is also taking a look at the SSL certification issue. At this time, it would appear the certification has not been extended to one of the new servers.

I've been on 56k for a while (3rd world country) and am now back at home.
I must say, the high speed internet access combined with the niftyily fixed forums here is almost sexual

This seems to be the second time in weeks, I hope it doesn't pop up again.

Yeah, CCP isn't allowed to screw up twice. Only once. Past that, it's just right out, or something.

Joy! The my character link now actualy goes to the my character page without having to click through the player news center... I never figured out why it did that before.
